Get a DHX/Marz Bomber CR and send it to avalanche. I have the dhx2 on my rise, the HSC adjuster doesn't really add HSC but instead adds harshness. I ended up sending it into fluid focus for their custom base valve piston and shim stack tuning and now the HSC is usable. Even then however, with...

So, one of the ways I QA/QC'd this was that I put some adhesive backed neoprene on the battery door (adhesive side to the battery door) and then held the battery door tight to the frame with a velcro strap put on very tight. This basically allowed the battery door to push the battery into place...
I had the same problem with my relay when I first got it. It was a combination of the battery clip not holding it in well enough and a pair of zip ties not letting the battery seat fully into the bracket.
Fwiw, I'm 6'2" and rode an XL rise that was mullet converted. I replaced that with an XL relay. The XL relay is a smidge long for me as I generally prefer a 490-495mm reach.... but it's for sure the correct size.
I'd guess that you're comfortably a large. You can get reach adjust headsets...
Whoops, yeah I linked the wrong one. this is the correct one, Reach Adjust ZS56-ZS66 - To Suit Tapered Steerer - 5mm
That may or may not be the one you linked before, i was checking in between meetings and obviously not checking closely enough. I had my LBS confirm the one linked in this...
That one you linked is for a straight 1-1/8" steer. You want one for a tapered steer tube. This would be the one Reach Adjust ZS56-EC56 - To Suit Tapered Steerer - 5mm
I'm 6'2", 33" (ish) inseam and 175lbs. I bought the XL, it's definitely a large bike, but fits me pretty well. It's nearly the same geo numbers as my nomad 6 which fits me like a glove. I will likely put a works components 5mm reach adjust headset in it to shorten the reach down to 497ish so...
I just picked up a carbon gx axs build myself. Swapped it over to mx, swapped the 36 for a 38 grip x2. More mods and fiddling to come. Coming off of a long shocked, cascade link mullet orbea rise with 160/160 that's done tons of miles. Stoked to ride this thing and super stoked that it's the...
That is a very bad idea. that's possible if you use a lathe or bridgeport and are certain that they tabs are square to each other. If you were to do it by hand, that is almost certainly a way to trash a rear hub. Fwiw, I run my rise in some of the steepest terrain there is, I weigh 175lbs, my...
you have to configure the data screens to show only 1 field. The orbea rs toolbox is a single data field that does it's own segmenting into the different data headings.
I removed my chain guide and changed my chainring to the shimano 104bcd spider and 34t ring about 200 miles into owning my rise. I now have 3,700 miles, I just put on my second steel chainring and I have never once dropped a chain riding my rise extremely hard, in rocky/technical terrain in...
2,900mi / 4,666km and still on my first motor. I have been through 2 speed sensors and still get occasional speed sensor error codes. Motor seems to limit power and acts a bit weird occasionally. Hoping to get one more season out of it and then fire sale the bike.
I have a friend with a transition relay that does just that. That solution isn't quite optimum for me and presents enough draw backs that it stops me from sinking the large amount of money into the bike for a less then perfect operational experience.
The nice thing about carrying two range...
This is the exact reason that I haven't bought a transition relay or a heckler SL to replace my orbea rise. I desperately want either of those bikes, have the cash ready and waiting... but I do a ton of very large rides on my rise with the main battery and 2 range extenders. Not having the...
I have run a fox float x with a 2mm offset bushing in the eyelet/basevalve side of the shock on my XL frame. I have tried it this way with both the cascade link and with the stock link. There is barely room for the float X to not hit my frame, maybe .5mm to 1mm at most.
I predominantly run...
my buddy has a large h-series that he is bringing over for me to install a cascade link for him. I'm supposed to do that thursday... I'll try out the fit and report back.
