My mate is having issues with the batteries draining with all 3 of the bikes on his showroom floor, he was saying they’d lose about 1-2% a day. He’s been going back and forth with Fazua trying to figure it out, he was saying they seem pretty clueless. Wonder if it’s just been the BT not turning...
Yeah somewhere around £240-250 but that’s with a custom tune too. You can buy the WPS kit for around £120 depending on which shock you have, it’s fairly easy to install if you’ve ever pulled a shock apart.
I believe it, I swapped out the X2 for a float x on one of my older bikes and liked it better. The float x suited the bike better, not sure why they made the decision to go with the X2 TBH.
That WPS upgrade is well worth it IMO, I demo’ed a RS SDU coil with the WPS upgrade to compare it to the EXT Storia on my SB130. I would say it’s 90% as good as the EXT at a few hundred quid cheaper. My mate kept going on and on about how good his was and I didn’t believe him.
My mate hasn’t had any problems out of his since the update, mine was updated but I sold it as soon as it came back.
You may have clearance problems with the X2 and the long link depending on what frame size you have. I think S4 and above you’ll have no issues, it’s hit and miss on the S3 and...
I rotated between 4 chains, I found I was getting roughly 150 maybe 200 miles per chain if I was lucky. That’s riding in the Scottish muck so your mileage may vary. I’ve went back to a traditional lube now that I’ve swapped to the transmission, currently using Silca Synerg-E, my drivetrains stay...
It doesn’t make any sense that you guys don’t have them in the US yet. They’re not selling where I’m at, my local Spesh dealer has 4 that he’s had since release. He was saying when he tries to pitch them to customers they aren’t interested. Seems like if there’s a demand for them somewhere else...
The Shuttle LT is getting an update, I couldn’t pry any details out of the “source” other than it will be Bosch powered.
The Shuttle SL didn’t sell very well due to the Fazua issues. My mate is a Pivot dealer and had to refund/swap a few customers out of that bike, it got so bad that he won’t...
Pivots are just bigger in general, I’ve went down a size in every one of their bikes I’ve ridden.
IMO, the XO would be worth it as you’re getting the 725wh battery vs the 625wh. As far as discounts go, I’ve not seen any on the Shuttle AM but there’s plenty on the Shuttle SL.
I was told it was a straight swap but never did it. You can get the current Levo with the old TCU, it’s on the cheapest model so there’s no issues with firmware, you just update it the same as you would the mastermind TCU.
I was planning to do this just so I could get rid of the cable going to the controller on the bars. I never actually did it as I’m planning to eventually sell the Levo. This is where I got the idea from.
I’m in Scotland and still buy my 90% of my bikes from my buddy in the US🤣😂 I get bikes at cost from him so even after shipping/customs fees I still save a good bit over what they cost here.
I did buy my e-bike in the UK though, got it from a shop down in London as they gave me the best price...
I just want a frame!! I’ve been waiting for months now, Spesh originally told me Jan/Feb but that didn’t happen. I inquired again and was told spring this time…..I’ll believe it when I see it.
I loved the suspension feel of the Yeti, if it had a Bosch motor I would have bought it. I own a Levo Pro but it has the cascade long link and the fork is at 170mm, it’s a blast. Out of your options I’d pick the Levo but with the suspension mods in mind.
The RS SDU coil with the WPS piston is awesome. It’s probably the best “non-exotic” shock I’ve tried. I’d say it’s on par with my EXT Storia but without the hefty price tag
The clutch on the old AXS was garbage, I would eventually get bad chain slap on just about every bike I had it on. I had 5 derailleurs replaced under warranty between 3 bikes. The only one that hasn’t been replaced at least once is my wife’s bike because it’s barely been ridden, she was back to...
Well February has came and gone and still no frames in stock in the UK. I’m guessing I’ll be looking at picking something else up, just not sure what as nothing else is offered as a frame only. I’ll be stuck buying the cheapest version of whatever and trying to offload parts.
