Levo Gen 3 Is my Levo loud?

That’s how my mate’s sounded just before he got his motor replaced.

    2024 Fox X2 changes - better reliability

Mine was replaced with a new 2024 and I didn’t even ask. It was sent in for a rebuild when I got it back it was a sealed box 2024 model.

    New 2025 Fox fork lineup

Pricing is already available, at least in the US anyway. They’re the same price as the current grip 2 damper. X2 is $380-$450 X is $320-$340

    New 2025 Fox fork lineup

Same as when the 38s came out, they had the limited edition pistachio colour. My mate has a set of those lowers that have never been used, he swapped them out for black back when he first got his 38. He’s been offered pretty crazy money for them but won’t sell them.

    New 2025 Fox fork lineup

I chatted with TF Tuned this morning about the X2 cartridge, it’s a direct replacement for the current grip 2 cartridge. It’s expensive though, they’re saying £450 for the 38 version. I’d rather get a custom tune done, it’s cheaper and would probably have better results than what your average...

Levo Gen 3 Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

Just list them for sale over retail and make some money, I’ve been offered £200 more than what I paid for mine and they’re slightly used. I rarely sell stuff though so mine will probably just sit on the shelf along with all the other random parts I’ve tried or swapped out.

Levo Gen 3 Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

Honestly, they lasted a week on my bike before I went back to the Hope T4V4s. I didn’t feel they had anymore power than my Hopes and I preferred the lever feel of the Hopes.

Levo Gen 3 Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

I bought the ultimate kit that came with the adaptors, they’re the same ones that came on the bike stock so you’re good. The only reason you’d need to change the adaptors is if you went with bigger rotors.

Fazua Ride 60. Yay or Nay? Reliability Improved?

My mate returned his Heckler SL after a month, it went through 2 motors and 2 ring controllers. Both of his motors were the “newest” version 4s but they still failed for the same thing the original versions did. They get loud when they get hot and eventually implode.

    New E-MTB Brand

The spec on the race version is crazy cheap, especially considering you get 2 batteries for the £7k price.

    New E-MTB Brand

The motor choice is definitely a bummer for me but some people like Shitmano. I’ve been told that Shitmano is the easiest to deal with for a smaller company, guessing that’s why they went that route.

    New E-MTB Brand

I’ve been following these guys for a bit, they just launched their website. It’s a local (UK) company, their bikes look good and they’re reasonably priced. https://www.static-bikes.co.uk/

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo Expert 2023

I’d be changing absolutely everything on the bike so the spec doesn’t really matter to me. I’d buy a 22 if I could find one in my size at a decent price, I wouldn’t pay more than the currently on sale 23 models though.

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo Expert 2023

They have a UK version of their website, it’s £4200 on there. I just checked again and the “includes customs and taxes” line is gone. Once you add the UK VAT/import charges it’s not much cheaper than buying it locally, I’d maybe save £2-300 at most. Crazy thing is the shop I bought my Levo...

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo Expert 2023

I keep looking at that deal, still haven’t been able to get a straight answer on whether or not that includes VAT/custom duties for the UK. It says it does but can’t get verification, I’ve emailed them and still waiting for a reply.

Levo Gen 3 Transmission T-Type chain ring, which one?

Hope has a new direct mount chainring for the Levo that’s for T-type chains, it keeps the 52mm chainline. I’ve got one on order, should be here later this week...

    Voima Orders/Shipping Options

Sucks because I love the “cyber punk” look of the Sonni but definitely don’t want to be jerked around. Maybe yours was given to the UK Pole hub, they seem to have a bunch of them available to demo.

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo Expert 2023

I’ve been looking at these on the UK site, it says customs duties and taxes included in the price but doesn’t say if that covers VAT. If it doesn’t include VAT then it’s only saving me like £200 over buying it locally.

    2024 Santa Cruz Heckler SL

Yep…that’s a fairly common failure. My mate went through 2 motors for the grinding issue and 2 ring controllers in a month of ownership, he returned the bike for a refund.

    Voima Orders/Shipping Options

I have a Sonni frame in the basket right now but I’m putting on the brakes after reading these posts. The website says new orders shipping in April but I don’t want to be stuck waiting months. I think I’ll end up going another direction, maybe build a 29er Kenevo instead.
