Haibike made the first ever mass market enduro eMTB, the first ever capable All mountain eMTB, the first ever 29er eMTb, the first Carbon eMTB, the first fatbike eMTB, the first S-Pedelec, the first kids eMTB. Not that anybody cares nowadays, but they did open the whole market up. I remember...
Haha, yea but that's exactly the point. IS the brand reputation something which influences your buying decison? Do you trust and like the brand enough to give them your hard earned cash. I also had some issues with Commencals, but to be honest I had issues with every bike, but I buy into their...
By brand reputation I mean do you trust the brand and what does the brand really stand for. I love Commencal for example because of how much they did for the sport of Mountain biking over the years, and how passionate Max Commencal is about biking. I know if I buy a commencal i will be getting a...
There are so many good eMTB's out there nowadays, so the chances of ending up with a bad bike are quite slim, but I think it also might be getting harder than ever to chose, so I am really interested in how others decide!
My question is what are the top 5 reasons for you to select the bike you...
43, feeling like 20 with all the eebing! Used to ride MX and MTB, packed both in 4 years ago to just ride eMTB and loving every minute of it! Also still somehow getting better as a rider which is a constant source of surprise since Im no spring chicken anymore!
I would try E-Bikeshop.co.uk | The UK's Largest Electric Bike Supplier they are in Farnham and have a huge range of Bikes. I bought one for my dad from there. Visits by appointment only so you get one on one treatment.
It's fairly easy, as long as you dont end up with a lemon, you won't go wrong with any of them, they are all amazing bikes. They are the best of the new breed of eebs. All have their strengths and weaknesses.
Nothing will keep up with a FLYON on most kinds of rides if it's in any of the top...
That might be your cassette slipping if it just happens in the smallest gears, not the motor. The older models had cheap sunrace cassettes that dont last long before they slip. I had that problem before a few times. New models have better versions. You cant make the motor stronger. If you want...
There are all kinds of different technical. Even Sam Pilgrim couldn’t make it up this, Andrea in the photo was only guy who could make it. Obviously the bike won’t do everything you still have to be a good rider to make hard climbs, but I understand your point. I haven’t tried it yet on loose...
You can climb way more stuff, actually the weight helps in this respect as does the long geometry. It’s really in a different league uphill. There is loads of stuff on our local trails we can’t get anywhere close to clearing on any other bike.
Got to post this here Rob, can’t wait until you try the Haibike FLYON with this motor. Such a well balanced and refined bike, and of course with this motor :)
Thats the thing about the FLYON AllMtn which is hard to get your head around looking at the numbers. Yes its heavier but also so much more powerful, so when you are on the pedals it feels like the lightest bike in the world.
You can make steeper climbs on it than on other bikes, some of the ones on my local trail Me and my friends never managed on any other bike. Also uphill in general on steeper trails you can average closer to 25km/h than the 14 km/ you normally reach on other systems. Everywhere else’s it’s no...
... and that it has eConnect with built in theft protection/bike tracking, keeping your bike safer. It also has accident notification making it safer when you ride alone, if you crash and don't get up in time, it sends a message to you to see if you are ok, and if you don't respond it can if you...
