Thats super cool that they got you a cover so quick! The Haibike guys do watch this forum. You are missing one part of the Böllhoff coupling, which would have been in the old skidplate. Was there anything else in the parcel?
The new LaPierre eZesty just arrived in our studio today so I took it for a quick blast around the block with the GoPro on. Love how light it is. It feels super agile and playful as well thanks to nice and short 435 mm chainstays. The new tuneable Fazua Black Pepper update totally transforms the...
Incredible!! Alu for sure looks better than carbon when its done as well as this. One of the best looking bikes I have ever seen, congrats! More photos please!
if you want power, nothing comes close to the Haibike FLYON models. They have 120 Nm of Torque VS 75 - 90 Nm of the other systems. A different league entirely.
Perm. total weight 130 kg
Max. payload (rider/equipment) 109 kg
Exclusive review: New sub 17 kg Specialized S-Works Levo SL 2020 with a brand new motor concept – a new way of riding bikes? | E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine
Sounds super interesting, will for sure check it out! I actually really like the eBike surge feeling. More the better I reckon, especially uphill. Of course its all about the overall feeling though and I do prefer eBikes which I can move around a lot as I have a pretty active riding style...
I use these which are brilliant, almost the same feel as a normal MTB glove but much warmer: Brisker MTB
They also come in a waterproof version which I have too for when it's wet, but they are not quite as good feel on the bike: Hydromatic Brisker
Specialized did a great job with the levo, but they also developed their own battery which is expensive and time consuming. I was thinking more of the Intense and older Scott intube models.
When you wrap the whole top of the motor in a big battery tube it makes it harder for the heat to leave...
Yea, you are 100% right. The trouble is the majorty of people are still buying bikes based on looks, and most people think integrated batteries look better. Manufacturers are having a hard time selling bikes with external batteries anymore.
There are other additional downsides to Integrated...
Pivot shuttle was the most poppy, playful bike I have ridden out of something like 20+ different eBike models. It is Super fun to ride, but that tight back end blows through the travel quite quickly when the trail gets more gnarly. Other than that probably the Spectral ON I found the most...
I love Matte finishes when the bikes are new, but unfortunately Matte overcoat always shows wear and tear worse. It's one of the reasons all cars are glossy.
That's actually not true, the Haibike Downhill is lighter (23.9kg) than Kenevo even with 200mm travel, and it's also better specced:
Haibike | XDURO Dwnhll 8.0 | E-mountainbikes
Anyway, this wasn't mean to be about Haibike, but I can see you value weigh, Geo, and brand reputation as much as I...
Been running the wild (notE) version for about 8 months now (2nd set) and rate them highly! Better on harder terrain than soft, but all around top selection for sure! WOnder about the difference VS the E ones? Mine are 2.4 so maybe just wider?
