Torqued my rear wheel with my torque wrench which decided not to click. Now I can't get the frigging wheel off. 4 weeks until my first service, leaving it for the bike shop because I know I'll snap something.
When you say derailleur hanger damage. Do I need an allen key in both sides as I only loosened and tightened on the non drive side. That's how I've always done it with my other bike
I am still doing it, I usually rotate between two chains. Just recently I've been thinking of giving it away and moving back to squirt. The drive train is a lot cleaner but removing the chain, cleaning, rewaxing putting the chain back on is losing it's novelty, I'm surprised I've lasted this...
OK bit of a noob question. I took the rear wheel off then put it back on. When I torqued it up the torque wrench didn't click so stopped when it felt tight, now I can't undo the wheel. I try to loosen and it makes a few click click sounds and the Allen key moves maybe an 1/8 of a turn but it...
Any fellow chunkers, I'm 112kg and even at 280 psi the rear shock sag was 20mm where as the fox site said it needs to about 13mm for 25% sag. What are my options here? New shock or just suck it up?
My latest bleed of G2's has been the best yet. I really took my time getting as much micro air bubbles out as I could. I just got a new Levo with codes and instantly they feel mushy and lever pull is shite. Going to try bleeding them tomorrow, I'm not sure bike shops know how to bleed brakes...
Thanks everyone that's put my mind at ease. I use a garmin for Gps, I don't ride with other people so wouldn't use micro tune and battery percent doesn't bother me. I'd prefer to save the 2k for upgrades over a carbon frame, being a heavier guy I'd prefer the extra weight capacity of the aluminium.
OK one more question, I placed a deposit today down on a comp alloy, am I missing much but not getting the model up with the mastermind tcu? Happy to forgo less weight but will I have buyers regret not getting the mastermind tcu. Is there a comprehensive comparison between the two tcu's?
Found a place with stock of the s4 and s5. The s4 was built and felt alright to sit on, very similar in geo numbers to my large VLT sight 19, the sales guy said it looked to small for me. They are going to build the s5 next week and then I'll go in and test them back to back and buy the one that...
I had a look in the comments and someone asked about the VLT 2020 and the creator replied there was issues with fitment.
Yeah norco came to the party no issues. Even replaced the speed sensor which got chewed when the chain stay broke. Couple of things but, the chian stay is stamped with 29, no...
There is a video on YouTube by epic ebikes and they swap the E8000 out for the ep8. I should mention it's on a meroda e160. The cables aren't interchangeable so you have to run new cables etc. How they got one off Shimano I do not know.
Currently riding a norco sight L that's a touch too small, I've got the seat slammed back but can comfortably hang my arse half off the seat. Since you can't demo anything thee days I used spoke99 to compare geo and I've settled on a mondraker crafty in L. Seems pretty close to the norco. Maybe...
I'm a cheapskate and just have some $20 sunnies but being red green colour blind I find blue tint the best for me in all conditions. Typical brown tint messes with my vision amongst the trees and fauna.
