I've usually got a rough idea where I'm going and if it's a new area I check my garmin watch to check where I've been and where I want to go. I can live without it but it's nice to have
My first quad lock was made for 22, 25 and 31 bars. I could not get it near the centre because my bars are 35mm but I bought the new mount and it's made for the other dimensions plus 35mm bars and is perfect.
Yeah ideally it would come out the right but can't change it as no room or access.
I tried swapping from a left hand side cable run to the right but the gap widens too much when I turn the bars. I'll keep playing around and see what I can do.
If anyone sees this post and has a pic of left...
At the moment its running along the gear shift cable. I tried running along the brake hose and the dropper lever on the left hand side but it folds back on itself and rubs along the frame.
I recently got one of these but my motor cable enters the frame on the left side and the controller is on the left side. Anyone set up theirs like this?
No matter how I route it I can't get it to look good and stop the cable from rubbing on the frame. I've now moved the controller to the right...
I'm at 8000ks on my second motor, first one lasted 1700ks. Just had it reviewed by Shimano and they said motor is fine, it's now out of warranty. As for the bike I've had to replace some linkage bearings and other stuff due to wear and tear but touch wood the frame has held up well.
I sent my motor off for evaluation and Shimano said it is OK but they have updated the firmware to 4.9. What is the process for downgrading so I can change the market area back to USA?
My Mrs battery died after 18 months. She'd only put 1100ks on it but it stopped holding charge. Diagnostics reporting battery health at 52% and dwindling fast. Giant replaced with a new battery.
I vote neither as I can't get my battery out without pulling the bike apart and dropping the motor. Now who thought non removable batteries were a good idea....
Always wear Bluetooth headphones, the in ear variety. Makes riding more enjoyable for me, really don't want to hear the whine of the motor. Never block anyone's path as always looking around me and 90% are analogue riders so I'm passing them they aren't passing me.
Yep you can change it to any of the other sram 12 speed derailleurs. Usually the GX is only a little more than the NX so I would buy that. The NX is pretty shit to be honest.
