Finally I have reached the end of modifying. There is nothing else. I upgraded everything and It makes me wonder why didn’t I just build a bike in the first place? Last item on the list is the spring assy for the fork from volsprug (sp?) folks in Canada. I can’t stand air suspension. Socal is...
Beautiful day in Santa Monica mountains. This place is one giant playground, due to recent fires we have a layer of smoke visible in pictures, but still,,,,,,not bad
I installed a Chris king inset 2. That is the correct size for tapered haibike xduro allmountain 6.0. ID of the frame is 44/56mm.
Stock bearing was junk, lots of play, I could feel it no matter how tight. The bearing cup and bearing are not exact fit and the material is very soft. Chris king is...
Hello
I noticed mine had no noise when new but now it had it pretty bad, I replaced the sas bearing and it was still noisy. Lubing the chain definitely cured the noise but it was temporary. That pointed to the chain being the culprit. I checked the wear and sure enough, 5% worn at 600 miles...
Hello
make sure you push up on the cover as you pull the catch release. The metal is recessed around the screw so that it does work it’s way loose.
other than being a complete crap design that is extremely difficult to open, it works great!
I would definitely not lube it. It sounds good but before you know it, it will collect dirt and be impossible to open. It can be removed easily and washed out. Push the tab and slide it out. Since my minor modification, I have had no issues removing it
That stupid battery cover...what a pain. Yes mine was very hard to open. I took a file and filed small recess in the part where you push so my nail can grab plus I bent it down a little to increase the angle. It is fine now.
I did. i have a 2019 all mountain 6.0 and just did the coil swap. I think I will do the front too. Much better, smoother in the back. it Really makes me wonder why use the air springs at all, other than weight what is the point? Spring just works better.
