The Python actually looks like he got into your Sugra stash. :)
Actually I was unaware of that form & set putty product & see that it could be useful at times although the use it or lose it hardening process does limit it's appeal for small projects.
As noted by Thomas above, this guy seems serious about tire testing!
Touring Bike Tire Test: Schwalbe Marathon Almotion
As the name "Marathon" implies, you can expect excellent wear/durability characteristics so great for commuting, OK on the wet, and very low rolling resistance...
So does that mean there is no thermal overload protection on the motor and is that still applicable on the current generation of Levo motors?
BTW, thanks for all your feedback Al
Are you replacing belts now Al? Could you determine a specific point of water entry? ie thru the bearing itself
How are the bearings holding up and is there any other noticeable damage due to general wear & tear?
Did you belittle the guy with the power washer? :D
Either the swingarm motion causes enough abrasion on the hose to frame contact point or a rock/limb has made contact and pinched the hose. It's surprising that the over-shroud was not extended enough to enter the frame and provide a bit more protection...be worth adding an additional layer if...
(y)Potentially great find Zimmer!
Looks almost exactly like the one I referenced in post #3 above at 60% of the cost...which one is the "knock-off" or is it a private labeling arrangement? Nice looking tool and with "free returns" could be the less risky investment. I'll risk it when the time...
Deadeye:
An unanticipated advantage is that the stand doesn't need castors to move about since the PVC squeezes and stays onto the Praxis Crank arm and simply lifting the rear wheel slightly allows easy relocation. Cranks with end cap protectors also fit in the stand, if the slot is slightly...
It seems to me that this setting, if finite, would require readjustment very soon after the belt is broken in and stretched out via stress & temperature but what do I know??
My Levo emits a whine noise when the motor is above 105 degrees F and climbing but my wife's Levo can barely be...
