I have the Leatt for a couple of years now. Like it very much. Only thing ive changed are the side clips. They are bulky and tend to create a pressure point on the ribs. If you fall on your side the risk of rib fracture or bruising is increased by the clips.
So i removed the clips and replaced...
It doesnt matter if the cranks are new or came on your bike pre-installed. What matters is which type it is. The more expensive Atlas or Turbine cranks can be drilled down, the cheaper Ride cranks cannot.
I also have a big can of PG75, that i would be willing to sell in small batches. However im currently in France and unable to ship things from here. In september i can ship you some from the netherlands. And next year i will be back in sweden, but doubt you can wait that long ;)
It just fell apart when i was trying to remove the crank from the casing. So it shouldnt take any effort or tools. If its loose, its loose. If not, then dont mess with it.
Well, i was only able to do that with my spare parts motor, which was an earlier revision E8000.
But my later model E8000 that came with my bike also had a fixed torque sensor assembly on the crankshaft that i couldnt remove.
But as mentioned earlier, its not required to remove this part. The...
Ill try to look up the serial# later, but for now i can tell that my faulty grinding motor was one of the later models, one of the last before the EP800 series came out. Bought new on a Canyon bike in 2019.
It had the 2 clutch system and the wider big metal sprocket. Also 2 IC's on the small...
But why would it matter? The regular bearings are more than capable of handling the load. Its the dirt and moisture ingress that destroys them. And a Max bearing wouldnt perform any different in that regard.
I would argue that the cage of that bearing was disintegrated a long time ago. And what you see now is just all the balls piling up on one side. As far as i can tell, the lower right corner shows no balls at all?
So no Max bearing if you ask me.
Max bearings are designed for pivot mechanisms...
No i was not able to separate the torque sensor and crankshaft. But removing the ball bearings can be done perfectly without separation. Perhaps a bit fiddly to get the bearing puller behind them, but from what i could remember they came off without too much trouble. The only thing you cant...
The mobius is great. Expensive as hell though... But it does work. It prevents the back flexing of the hand very well, so it reliefs a lot of the pressure from the scaphoid bone. Also pretty comfortably, i hardly even know im wearing one while riding.
My scaphoid fracture was diagnosed incorrectly. So i walked around with a broken wrist for 5 months. Imagine the pain! When my doctor found out it was actually broken and they put a pin in it, i was back up and bicycling within a week. A pin = instant and total pain relief. Its only a short...
I would say no. The overtime pack works like a mobile charger for the main battery. It can only output ~4A, or something like 200W. Not enough to power the motor.
