Depending on what cassette you’re using, if it uses the older style shimano hg9 or hg11 freehub it might be worth changing to a steel freehub if it’s available. Some of the cheaper cassettes have more individual gear sprockets that each bite into the freehub. The extra torque from an ebike could...
The frames look very similar to the Lightcarbon lces004.

The suspension units look to be very similar to products under the name of Himalo that are available on aliexpress...
Unfortunately little to stop people new to the sport possibly being ripped off if the product turns out to be poor quality. Hence forums/reviews and opinions of people who might know better. I’ve altered my original post a little to say what I should have said that the parts seem to be below...
Shame on me for not wanting to see people possibly being deprived of a lot of hard earned cash for a bike that to an experienced rider doesn’t look like a good deal at all considering the alternatives. And I really wouldn’t want someone to seriously hurt themselves on what could be sub standard...
I apologise, my first post was probably a bit full on, I won’t apologise about the reply to the other user his attitude called for it.
Typical that chainreaction have just increased the prices again but at the time I wrote that, the vitus e sommet vrs £3750 and that’s for a full slx 12spd...
Because the wiring runs below the motor and over one of the fins, a well placed impact could damage if not sever the wires completely. I thought about ordering an Andreani skid/bash plate but not only would it cost a fortune but the mounts that it uses for the existing plastic guard at the rear...
Spoken like a true hypocrite keyboard warrior attacking someone who is merely stating their opinion (not fact, get it right idiot) based on my many years of experience and I don’t have to prove anything to you. We live in a country of free speech, don’t like it tough s**t.
Find me some spares...
Been riding tubeless for probably over 5 years now and never looked back. All 3 of my bikes (ebike, naturally aspirated mountain bike and DH bike) are set up tubeless and once you get the knack of it it’s easy and relatively cheap to do with benefits of less unsprung mass and rotating weight...
I don’t mean to knock you down (sorry, it’s gonna be a knock down, you could call it constructive criticism) but you’re going to need all the luck you can get selling those bikes with what looks like far below standard parts from non branded companies at over £4.5k. Especially when you can get a...
I was going to purchase one as they appeared to be the best you can get new for that price range, I couldn’t find better. The VRX would be better (bit more pricey but worth it) but the VRS still looks pretty good. Only reason I didn’t buy was I was slightly put off by reports of Shimano motor...
When I updated to the c1 air shaft and foot nut on my lyriks, the sram instructions said to use the dynamic seal grease for rear shocks. You use a lot less than the sram butter. Even using sram butter you don’t use that much
Couple of options to make things easier, re-use the existing rear hose, just flush it through with some isopropyl via a syringe and blow it through to dry.
Secondly use one of these: RockShox Barb Connector - Reverb Stealth | Tredz Bikes
I’ve used mine all the time with internal hoses. I...
Wish I knew! Not had a chance to ride it yet. Rain hasnt stopped at all here. I’ll be making a cardboard mock up for a motor guard this week hopefully. Motor looks pretty solid but the wiring runs directly under it and there’s not enough slack to route it any other way. Looks pretty vulnerable...
It’s a shame we have to do these things, I know they don’t get as much rain in Spain but it’s not hard to see that’s a very crap place to put something like that on something that’s going to get used in all kinds of conditions
Thanks chaps! I’d prefer to only ride in the dry but I would never get out at this rate. Love my winter night rides but this weather is ridiculous! Went for a proguard up front, clearance is very tight. I was considering removing the lower charge point completely but not looked into the wiring yet.
