Well with what i have been reading and testing the Haibike is part of the good ones. I have a 2017 bought new recently and the Yamaha with 500Wh has plenty of range. I appreciate the instant power. The minor thing i did not like was 175 mm arms and for a few $ i got 165 and that bike is a keeper.
I demoed the Norco 1 hr small and 1 hr med.
I liked the feeling of the bike.
I am not sure Shimano at that price makes sense.
Now i like my Haibike Yamaha but for our 4 seasons i might get a second Ebike.
If Cube has Bosch i would never buy it. The old system will have no value, the new system is unproven. Haibike are you looking at 2019 or 2020? Is it a Yamaha?
All websites include typos, no extra charge. If i look at the Canadian french than english than USA info is rarely all the same, never trust but the 504 is a standard so probably correct.
I guess the impossibility to accelerate it is for safety in case you loose control or you fall.
I did a few demos of Shimano 8000 in Quebec in the last weeks and it is just not functional. The market is international but the final product varies by region. I think we do not have any button to push.
Why are you not able to pedal? Is it too hard, your low gear is not low enough? The trail for that section is a bit tougher than you are confortable with?
I am new to Ebikes, i realy enjoy it so i might buy an other one.
I have a Yamaha without walk assist and do not miss that feature.
For those who miss it how heavy is your Ebike(i read some reach 55 pounds)?
Do you have instant power? Well i am not sure how it is called but as soon as i press a...
The glowing reviews are allways there. Just look at the fact they all promote full suspension because they generate more income/profits. Tons of people use HT but they do their best to discourage us. It is a young thing. People over 60 were 1 of multiple children so we grow up on used stuff...
Maybe we can/should include the faked reviews that are disguised ads?
It is a form of disguised monopoly. Here in Canada we have 5 major banks, all charges fees for everything so people pay them. There is an illusion of choice but no real choice. We can go to 20 retailers and other than the...
A 6,000$ Ebike is worth around 4,800$. Some are willing to pay the premium for the **freshnesh**. Just wait some months. Now since there are none used available they are gouging and to continue to do that the battery get bigger, they will advertise less noise. Will you get your money back when...
I think there is no answer. First around here, Montreal, Quebec there is no market. It takes a month to see 1 advertised than is it proper size, etc.. so a motivated buyer may make a reasonable offer also counting many shops are out of stock. On the other hand a non rider will tell you he can...
Sorry, i meant 34 teeth sproket. In my opinion
allmost all Ebikes are geared for speed and i enjoy climbing.
An easy gearing adds to the distance 1 charge can do.
