How easy is it to fit a Specialized dropper post yourself?

I’ve got an inch on you so I think I’ll have the same problem!

    Thanks Tetsugaku!

Yay I'm glad it got there in one piece :) Look forward to whatever crazy POV footage you get from it!

Ok good to know thanks all. Any particular model to aim for / avoid? I’d rather get a Specialized one :)

A combination of this saddle https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071P6D82L/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and these shorts! https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01NBTJIHC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think it might be a bit more nuanced than that :)

50k per day commute. 25K off road at the weekends every fortnight :) I normally keep the battery on about 75% assist, on the road that means 50% of the battery is gone after 25k and 80% gone when off road with hills etc.

Mudguards for a Specialized Turbo Levo FSR 6Fattie XL ?

So - I've been through 3 different mudguards now! Muckynutz - frankly the worst of the lot by a long way. The rear fender was way too short and the fixing mechanism, velcro was just plain crap. It never sat and stayed above the wheel. Topeak - the front the front fender didn't play well with...

How easy is it to fit a Specialized dropper post yourself?

I've seen them on ebay for about half the retail price and although I'm handy-is with an allen key, routing cables etc seems to be more of a challenge on a bike like a levo? Has anyone done it before? cheers!

Attaching a GoPro to your forks using a 3d printed mount

Takes 6 hours, bloody noisy as well but it should be all good :) I don't have any adhesive foam to put in the bit that goes round the fork so you might need to pop something in there to stop it spinning around, cable ties used to mount it as well - easy :)

Oh don't worry about that, think of it as a thank you for setting up the forums if you'd like? I can try to print one in black as well so it doesn't look quite so out of place on the bike.

@Rob do you do the EMTB YouTube videos? I can easily print you a mount if you want to use one :)

Attaching a GoPro to your forks using a 3d printed mount

I’ve not had it long so I’m just experimenting, but some useful things you can’t buy, like wall mounts for my electric toothbrush chargers, my little pony figures and coins for my kids, a doorstop of all things..... I like to be able to fix and do things myself when I can, things for the bike...

Attaching a GoPro to your forks using a 3d printed mount

I do indeed. I made it myself from a kit, Original Prusa i3 MK3 - Prusa3D - 3D Printers from Josef Průša Saved 25% by doing it myself, bit like a complicated lego kit.

Thingiverse have lots of stuff like this which can be useful, not all of it well designed (this is very over engineered for example) but sometimes you just can't get a thing from any manufacturer

Very much so... but, the camera can do some if I turn it on and I can stabilise it again using my Mac ? something should come out!
