Henryk can not order large quantities like Germany. Unfortunately, shipping costs to France have gone out of control since Brexit so he has to pass high shipping cost to his customers  I am sure when more French people support him, he will soon bring the prices down.
It's listed as the right hand bearing but is actually the left hand one you wanted. I have asked him to change this. I have also asked why his site is not currently allowing any selection of these parts!?
The motor 1.2e motor is identical to the 1.2 but set to 50Nm power output for extra battery mileage. The 1.2 outputs 70Nm. This is not reprogrammable or resettable by Specialized. They are bought direct from Brose like this.
Are we talking about the same bearing? I am talking about the crank axle bearing that is fitted right next to the left hand crank seal. I understand that it should be protected by the motor cover seal, and for most situations it is. But, I have also pulled enough motors apart to know that this...
But this is why that particular bearing fails! When water and grit gets past the first line of defence, the single soft lip seal, there is no back-up!? The crap goes straight into ZZ bearing. Surely an RV or an LUV would be perfect? Second line of defence from a rubber bearing seal behind the...
Definitely do not use "MAX" bearings, these are pivot bearings for use with suspension linkage and the like. They don't last 5 minutes when used as a roller bearing.
What a great question!
An ABEC3 LLU bearing would be a better choice. Everyone thinks that ABEC5 is the best quality you can get! It is only a standard denoting the tolerance of the bearing (it is harder to make, therefore costs more). It could still be made from chocolate!
Fitting a bearing...
Still irrelevant. Mileage cannot be quantified with so many variables. You may have a 2 foot deep river at the bottom of your garden that you have to ride through every time you go out? I am not saying you have, but if you omitted something like this, it would be no surprise to hear you have...
The motor can be repaired, the battery not always so easy. In some cases the battery is almost twice the cost of a new motor.
I think you're right, if either the motor or the battery fails, it's usually cost effective to replace or repair. But some motors take the battery with them when they...
After reading quite a few threads on this very subject, I have come to the conclusion that questions like this are completely unanswerable! There are so many variables that no two bikes would ever be the same. So, without knowing all the variables below, it is totally pointless to post the...
We tried the sleeving method which worked well on the needle roller bearing surface, but too many cranks also had sprag bearing surface issues and turning down, sleeving, hardening and grinding that part was just too expensive. Don't worry though, we have a solution on its way and to be...
