My bike sometimes cuts out for a few seconds while peddling if under high load or not. Sometimes I get an error message, sometimes not.

Shouted my X2 shock a full service (well overdue). And Fox 36 forks a full service with Vorsprung Luftkappe upgrade. Just put the bike back together and wow, really noticed the difference after an easy ride. Will try something bigger on Saturday.
Nearly 7000k’s on mine. Only problem was a speed sensor cable which caused the bike to cut out for a few seconds periodically under load. Otherwise OK.
Easy job with an adjustable spanner, just keep plenty of pressure on top so it doesn’t slip and damage the head.
My 900e came with 3 spacers. I removed one to get the correct travel.
I have the 2018 E160 900E which I’m still happy with. To get a new bike with the same great specs these days certainly is a lot more expensive.
I will update one day as well so I will be interested to hear what you end up with.
Maybe a new Merida 9000, they are certainly great value in Aus...

Build quality and top components, no complaints.
Have had no trouble at all, just a bit of water in DI2 which was an easy fix.
No Shimano motor issues after 6300 k’s.
I’m keeping an eye on all the reviews in the forum, possibly change one day as the new Merida 10k...
