Shouted my X2 shock a full service (well overdue). And Fox 36 forks a full service with Vorsprung Luftkappe upgrade. Just put the bike back together and wow, really noticed the difference after an easy ride. Will try something bigger on Saturday.

For me they didn’t make any difference. Ended up getting some Ergon GA3’s.

Nearly 7000k’s on mine. Only problem was a speed sensor cable which caused the bike to cut out for a few seconds periodically under load. Otherwise OK.

Easy job with an adjustable spanner, just keep plenty of pressure on top so it doesn’t slip and damage the head. My 900e came with 3 spacers. I removed one to get the correct travel.

Must be a Shimano thing. After having both our Merida‘s for around 18 months they both do that.

The exact same thing happened to me, even Ergon grips. Except I lost half an inch off my bar, now only 710.

I’m 68. Been riding mtb’s for around 12 years. Had my trusty Merida for 20 months now. Great fun.

Another Merida E 160 900E here. Build quality and top components, no complaints. Have had no trouble at all, just a bit of water in DI2 which was an easy fix. No Shimano motor issues after 6300 k’s. I’m keeping an eye on all the reviews in the forum, possibly change one day as the new Merida 10k...

If you have updated your iPhone/iPad to the latest version of software it will not work until Shimano have got their software to work with 13.1.

It’s an easy plug and play job, if you get the E7000 switch make sure to get one with the correct cable length. Works well.

Ergon GA3 work for me. Have tried Revgrips but don’t help me with hand discomfort.
