Evening all,
Does anyone know the post mount size for both front and rear brakes on a 19 Levo?
I'm fitting Hope V4 calipers and I'm presuming I will need different mounts than the stock ones fitted for the Guide REs?
I can't find a ruler but they look roughly 180 so I'm thinking they should...
Well, the moral of the story is always listen to @R120
They rivets do indeed rub on the caliper...but, they look awesome! Attached photos below to show where they rub. I didn't spend any time trying to adjust and make it fit as the Guides will be going shortly anyway.
It doesn't look like...
I had one glass of wine too many last night and ended up ordering some hope Tech 3 V4's. They're on back order for a week so I'll just wait to fit the rotors and get them fitted all together. I should never have ordered those rotors ??♂️
Thanks, If my googlefu hasn't deserted me it seems like they were redesigned in 2015/16 so you probably tried the same set I've ordered.
I'll just have to see where it rubs, if indeed it does and decide from there. Tweeks have despatched so hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow.
Worst comes to...
Does anyone know when Hope redesigned the rotor to fit on different braking systems? @R120 - was it the redesigned ones that you fitted?
I've decided to give it a bash, I can always send them back if they don't fit. ?
Doh. I presume the Vitus has RE’s as well? I was afraid that might be the case. Planned upgrade was to try and sort the awful squeal the stock rotors make when wet and also, add a bit of bling.
Evening all, has anyone successfully installed hope floating rotors (200mm) with the levo comp guide RE brakes? I'm reading conflicting reports on whether they will foul or not?
Many thanks in advance
Well, I know we're all different but I think it looks
Please excuse the state of our caravan awning. We've had a bit of wind lately (you might have heard about it on the news) so nothing is where it started
So, decided on
DMR Deathgrips in Tango
SDG Bel Air in orange. This was my favourite saddle on my old bike
and finally copper orange Vault V2s.
So, we'll find out next week if I've made an expensive mistake ??
?Yep, they're old pics - the pedals are now a nice shade of silver and grey.
I'm thinking yellow would match but as per my op - you can't get grips and pedals the same colour even from the same manufacturer. Also, my missus would probably go bananas if I bought another set of V12s just to...
Cheers, yeah, I'd be worried about the blue as it's almost certainly going to be a different shade to the bike.
The snow camo is top of the list at the moment but if I'm not buying white so they don't get dirty, I'm not sure why I'd buy ones that already look like I've had to change my chain a...
You know what it's like. You've not washed your bike for a while 'cos it's bloody freezing out so you feel like giving it a treat. I really fancy some new grips, potentially DMR Deathgrips unless there's anything better but I don't want to just buy black as then, how will I know when I'm looking...
I've ridden in on my commute this morning in all modes and no errors have returned. @Deadagain51 have you had the TCU firmware update recently? I wonder if it's something to do with that.
Evening all. BikeScene have taken a look at my bike and reflashed the firmware and updated the TCU to the new version. The errors are now gone. They also fitted the updated harness, my previous one was showing some damage.
A quick ride around and all is well again. Thanks to BikeScene for...
