this is something I really hate about the Garmin. Is there a way to change it?

Same on mine. Not an issue. Canyon changed the kinematic a bit, so the 22 model has 155mm travel with a 230x60 shock. 21 model had „only“ 150mm Both can handle strock up to 65mm wirhout any issue.

It is the 21, but the 22 has the same shock (230). Offset because of the 180mm zeb

Change the stroke from 60 to 65mm, added offset bushings and a 180mm Zeb

Had the same situation and selected the Spectral at the end and be happy. BUT, I‘m riding a different fork and damper setup with more travel. Working fine at bike parks and jumps.

On Canyon: eKMC in black: 450km SRAM GX: 690km Shimano Deore 6series: now at 850km still good On Haibike: KMC: 640 km Shimano XT: 950km Shimano Deore 6series: now at 750km still good I have to say, I'm doing a lot of technical uphill and shift not always chain friendly :cool:

The eKMC is just marketing…which is paid by you ;)

Change to a different magnet

Have you changed it, just to test? I heart from cases, where people fixed it by changing. It would be worth a try.

BMC?? You mean KMC. They are not pretty good, only expensive. I tried mostly all brands and now I'm on the cheap Deore 6 Series Chain from Shimano. Just make sure to change them frequently. Best is three sets and rotate them.

Has somebody ever tried to change from a Shimano BT-E8036 to a Darfon battery? Ist it "only" the battery and the mounting stuff?

Wow, great home trails, I'm jealous. In my eyes, the Spectral is the better choice. It is versatile. For your trails, it is perfect, but both are capable for this.
