Oakley Jawbreakers with an open face helmet, Smiths goggles with Smiths full face helmet. I wear an open face helmet on XC type rides, full face on gravity rides.
going by what you describe the charger is receiving power from the mains but is making no contact with the battery charging port. The most likely culprit is the rosenberger plug on the charger..................you say you have cleaned it but did you check that the pins on the battery port are...
No................and the most likely way to bend cassette teeth is not backing off as the mech is changing gear. AXS change is fast and often completely silent so it does make it slightly less obvious when to back off.
Assuming you are reasonably fit you may well then find a half fat EMTB meets your needs...................or if you end up going for a full fat bike, one that is more trail oriented rather than enduro focussed sounds like it would suit. A trail oriented bike would typically be 150mm fork travel...
First pair the derailleur with the shofter if not already done..............leave the derailleur on its most outboard position ( ie higher gear) and fit the derailleur to the UDH ( no grease) and torque.
Next set B tension. Chain on second largest cog, white adjustment tool on biggest cog...
If/when I buy a new bike I have no intention of ever selling it. That does mean getting the selection right! I am no slave to fashion but in most cases when something both beneficial and functional comes along later, ( e.g AXS), it is usually easy to implement. Most of any bike consists...
I assume there was a reason you became interested in EMTBs......whatever that reason was probably gives you the biggest guidancee in terms of what type of bike to go for.
I dont necessarilly agree with some of the comments above. I changed to EMTB from analogue 4 years ago. The first and...
I use the 350 hybrid hub together with Hybrid 1700 wheels on both of my bikes. Yes it is the original ratchet system which is bombproof ( whilst the EXP version suffered some problems at least early on..maybe fixed now?). Everything is uprated...hub shell, bearings, ratchet system ( 24 t steel)...
DT Swiss do supply a hybrid EXP ratchet system 240 hub specifically for EMTBs. I would think the steel freehub is a straight swop. Not sure if the hybrid ratchet is steel and 24t like it is on the star ratchet hybrid system though. You may be best sending an enquiry to DT Swiss via ther website.
Never had a problem on any of my Bosch Gen4 bikes .....3 of them, one 3 years old, one 2 years old. It just needs to be fitted correctly and torqued to the correct value. That said, if I changed a chainring for whatever reason, for the sake of a few extra £, I would fit a new lockring, simply...
My wife has a Cube Access (virtually the same bike as the Hybrid) and I think the forks fited to Cube's hardtail range is more about maintaining a relatively low ( compared to full sus) price point and possibly the sort of riders they are aimed at. The rest of the bike is alot more capable than...
I bought a Levo Comp in early 2019 and it was a clear market leader at that time both in terms of geo and electrical integration.........plus of course the quietest and most powerful motor. That was enough to clearly differentiate Specialized in the EMTB field and subsequently enable them to...
You may find it easier to sort out body armour by buying a separate back protector to start with. They tend to be less critical in terms of size/fit..........check out the POC range. Your chest size is xxxl for most manufacturers but not a size often offered by the MTB brands so you may need to...
calm down !! I did not say it was impossible.......I said it was reasonable and indeed a good safety measure. TVs Laptops etc are not chargers so not relevant here. Phone chargers are typically 5v...not really in the same league as a 36V bike battery charger is it!!
Sorry but I think the way that charger works is perfectly reasonable and ...................who the heck leaves a charger/any charger plugged in when not in use, its a potential fire hazard.
No doubt you have worked this out but what is happening is a part of the charger circuit is signalled by...
there is no systemic fault with the Bosch Smart System.................thousands of bikes are fitted with it. Since you have had every component changed that just leaves how the system has been fitted, so who is doing the work on the bike??
nor me............but when you have checked all the obvious............you have to accept the less obvious:ROFLMAO:
I note he changed the headset bearings but does not make clear whether he did that because of the creak or just as a maintenance job and the creak started a fter he did that...
