If the new Mahle MySmartBike (or old eBikeMotion) app is configured to control the new 2022 Powerplays, that would really surprise me. It works with the old Powerplay that actually has a Mahle controller.
Of course you get more of a «mullet effect» by actually changing to a smaller rear wheel, but could you say there’s some «mulletability» built into the (New) Altitude by the two frame adjustment points? I guess I’m saying I still think I haven’t grasped all effects of actual mullets.
I mean I...
This kind of neutral unbiased non-flag-waving crazy talk has no place on an emtb forum. Or the internet for that matter.

To mend this I’ll add that I’ve ridden about 1000km on a 2020 Levo Comp (with both a 2020 and 2021 motor … commence flame war [emoji1]) and while I much preferred...
It’s been months and I would have expected some news on the whole wireless connection issue. Especially since last gen Powerplays got a totally new app in January of this year (although that was probably initiated by Mahle).
I noted somewhere that the Jumbotron display has the necessary...
I had to accept a C70 instead of the pre-ordered C90 Rally because of .. well, the world situation.
Anyway, I get it in June if you’d doodle across the oil rigs and windpower plants and would like a go. South of Norway. Usually warm, dry and sunny then. Cabin in a scenic highland-like mostly...
The ebikemotion app (from Mahle’s Ebikemotion subsidiary) is for the pre-2022 Powerplays, isn’t it? RM used a third party control system from Mahle but the new one in the 2022 Powerplays is supposed to be developed in-house (which may be why RM’s own app and OTA updates are delayed (the new top...
Thank you. That’s what I would think. It would be crazy if the system was intentionally designed and hampered without those features. I hope it’s more correct to call it a delay then («a well hidden delay» considering there’s no reference to Bluetooth, OTA firmware updates or companion apps on...
I hear you, I just can’t believe it…
No connectivity? No OTA firmware updates? No data export or import/integration ? No possibility for wireless accessories or future wireless innovations of the Jumbotron ?
Yet it’s actually the 2022 model and they claim “Our Powerplay bikes are firmly...
I’ve owned a Levo Comp with a Brose 2.1, have ridden somewhat on a 2021 Rail 9.9 with Bosch CX gen 4, and have a 2021 top spec Instinct Powerplay as well as a preorder on the 2022 Altitude Powerplay C90 Rally.
I much prefer the Dyname “feel”. I don’t know where the Nm are measured and whether...
What?! No?? I’m all for simplifying but these would be huge regressions, especially for an update to a system after 5 years.
I would honestly have thought rider power input were now properly measured and could be passed on to an app (and then Garmin/Strava). Which other emtbs do, and is the...
Yes, it’s different but I personally highly favor the Powerplay feeling, in front of experience with Brose 2.1 and then Bosch gen 4.
(Also you could adjust it mechanically with standards bike parts like Eddy has shown, and for 2022 also adjust torque “boost” level on the display).
Like I said...
That would explain the jumping to the wrong conclusions and the moving target [emoji4] That was to stay in character and keep joking [emoji4] I have absolutely no horse in that race. And quite seriously, Eddy Current , I am genuinely sorry to debase the thread and litter the community of this...
That statement has about the same relationship with reality and facts as a hardcore Trump supporter (and was equally theatrical [emoji1]):
Goes for both Altitude and Instinct Powerplay C90.
As I wrote….
So, no, the green and blue flashing should not be just 8 times because it’s waiting for you to “interrupt” it with the middle button, but do not hold the middle button so long that you turn it off (yet). Then there should be 8 green flashes and then you turn the bike off and on again.
Any reviews of Powerplays I’ve seen tend to be of outgoing models.
If you want the latest model it’s never been anything else possible than preordering one 9 months in advance where I live. Since Powerplays launched. Still they’re very popular here and get sold. I’ve only seen one year old A50...
Doesnt Jesse already run that geo and travel on his Altitude (non-Powerplay) ? I understand it as the new 2022 Altitude Powerplays are just playing catchup in that regard.
EDIT: Oh, you wrote «ewsE»..
The C90 Rally, and usually most versions, are available in two color schemes. The C90 Rally at least in a greenish dark called «Warhammer» and also a more «racing» clear red and dark I believe.
As I said in my thread starter at the top I agree with the image embargo to not take away the wow factor of the actual launch. After all I really like the company and its products (at least thus far, and herein lies the great interest for information about the “all new” these days).
I wouldn’t...
