Do you clean & lube your brake pistons?

Yes....but mostly the rear brake since the front brake orientation behind the fork lower means it is better protected from mud and dust. I use a calliper block that allows only one piston at a time to be extended and clean the piston with IPA and a cotton wool bud. Then lubricate with dot 5...

    Seatstay shock bolt

I would guess you need to take all pressure off the bolt by removing the rear wheel and with the bike on a stand allow the rear triangle to hang. You can then manually raise the seat stay a little whilst pulling the bolt.

Levo Gen 3 2022 Levo Expert - Speed sensor error 1024

I had a 2019 Levo Comp and never had any electrical issues with it but I did note a number of potential areas where water could cause a problem and carried a few minor preventative measures. I am not sure how similar a 2022 Kenevo is to the 2019 Levo Comp but for what it is worth this is what I...

Nature's seal of approval for my Whyte E160RSX........ or it may have just liked the warmth of my saddle

    E160-RS-MX 2023 New bike. Few Mods :)

That looks like the cable into the repositioned Led Remote would be pulled out on full left lock. Just mounted closer to the stem on the bars on the left hand side looks a better bet. Personally I have no issues with the LED Remote in over a year riding with it......but then I only really use it...

    Lost button from my controller!

Still under warranty? No guarantee a rocker button would attach if its mounts were broken during whatever forced the button off .

    Bosch Mini Remote compatibility

...a lot of confusion in this thread!! Kiox is a screen/controller for the gen 2 Bosch system and comes complete with its own wired remote. That set up enables replacement of the Purion. Nyon rather than Kiox is another option. No Bosch Smart System component is backward compatible with gen2 (...

    Lost button from my controller!

One option is just buy a new one...c £80 from most Bosch stockists. Easy plug and play 2 minute change, you just need to run the flow app using your Bosch account as before but pair from scratch so that the new LED Remote is recognised.

    Whats the most reliable ebike??

An ally EMTB with a Bosch motor.....................and is well maintained and not washed with a hose or jet.

Zeb ultimate 2023 170mm harsh ride

I think there are 2 reasons why the rider weight relationship to air spring psi recommendations are misleading. Assuming you set sag in the ready position a propotion of your weight acts down through the BB and a proportion down through the bars. That means folk with a greater proportion of...

    AXS, old vs new?

To me "T" is a very expensive solution and is mostly hype!! I have the original AXS (GX) on one bike and standard X01 mech/GX cassette on another. Both work flawlessly and both require only minimal back off to change gear. The older AXS is also capable of withstanding knocks from the side and...

    E180RS on forest trails

Not so nimble in the tight and twisty stuff as my E160RSX but that just makes it a bit more of a challenge. ......absolute bliss on the rough and rooty bits though

Zeb ultimate 2023 170mm harsh ride

not sure without re reading the entire thread but I just wonder if the OP set up sag with all LSC/HSC/LSR/HSR controls fully open/fast? Regardless of RS or Fox I set up forks the same way ( and ignore Trailhead etc !!) . I ride rough rooty trails a lot with drop and jumps but nothing more than a...

XT Deore rear derailleur jumping under load

indexing usually needs to be a djusted after a couple of rides mostly due to cable stops etc all relaxing a bit.........2 or 3 clicks anti clockwise of the adjuster on the changer usually does the trick.

Trek Rail - Carbon Frame Crash Damage

Park Tool PRS 22.2 mod for Ebikes

As standard the PRS22.2 platform bike stand has a fork/thru axle mount on the front end and a spiked fitment at the back end that fits either side of an anlague bike bottom bracket. The latter is obviously no good for an EMTB so I replaced with a homemade "cradle" that the motor sits on. I made...

    Giant reign 2022 frame cracking

Well there are manufacturing defects.........and Giants supposed new invisible welding technique is one of them in my opinion, and there are just plain design or component poor selections. For example, cheap, poorly sealed bearings, totally ineffective knock blocks ( which should not be needed...
