When you set 25kmh it should work and will update settings.
It is Assistance level parameter. Has only M510 FC2.0 and M560. You can set up to 500% in Besst Pro. Multiplier of your leg power.
In Go+ is still missing Assistance level - and this is what is the best about M510. You can set it as Bosch. Many people were complaining motor has high power and you do not need even to push into pedals.
Yes, Assistance percentage, they have renamed in latest Besst. I have to start naming it assistance. Default Bafang setting is 340%, Vitus put it on 400%. With this settings you wont get more power though.
Hello Jimmy. That 500 you mean support level parameter, right? It is sensitivity to pedalling. If you set to 500% it will be more like on/off. As even with low input to pedals you will be getting max set power from motor. Some people like it this way, some not.
With K1 Flash you do not have any...
8° and 15° shouldn't be such a difference. And hard to spot.
Old controllers have only a "levels" 0 to 16. One level was something like 8.5 degree (cca). So now is a question if they have now better pass sensors which can detect to degree accuracy. ;)
Hello Neeko.
I would say they mean mechanical power at the wheel. And it really match also according numbers. 48V and 14A is peaking 730W - electrical power. Effectivity of controller and motor is cca 0.8 , with Bafang less. ;) Also Bosch motors have less on the wheel.
So Freda, now you know why you did feel it the same. ;) So you must have had also bad range.
Yes, that Go+ works weired, but I must say it worked for me, when I tested with M510. So should be working also on M820. What I noticed it didnt sometimes read the settings, I had to click forth and...
Freda, check max power settings, somebody maybe did mess with this. You definitely need to feel difference between levels, especially between Eco and Boost. ;)
I have noticed last motor which was sent as a replacement to my friend was with 10A (43V) - looks like they realized 13A was too much. ;)
Hello Peter.
Unfortunately Leaderfox bought M510 FC1.0 version 2 years ago and they need to sell them now (and same did also Dema and MTF). These versions are already outdated and you won't do much with firmware update. I doubt Bafang will be releasing some new firmwares for FC1.0, when now...
Much more differences and updates: rotor, stator - thicker copper wires, gearing, clutch, more sealing for anti-water. And the most important - new controller and much better torque sensor - sensitivity.
I hope they would go with nylon gear for 500W version. Then just to flash 750W firmware. ;)
That would be great if you get bin file.
Let us know how this version behave, if no big overrun after stop pedalling. Where did you buy controller?
Use Besst Pro for M510.
Hello Iscnader.
So looks like some new firmware. Again a big jump in a version number. Official bafang for M510 FC2.0 is v10.1
6007 is a CAN ID, not an error. Basicaly it is a request ID to get error messages from a device. This did not worked on any motor for me. Display is usually storing...
