I'm going up at about 15 to 18Km/h sitting on the saddle. So minimum body dynamic.
I don't care about efficiency going up. It's just a bad moment to go through to enjoy the downhill.
It's just that going up on this bike I can look at the shock and see how much stroke I use for almost flat...
Sorry to speak again about rear suspension with X2 shock and maybe I worry for nothing as I like how the bike ride.
But it look like I use a lot of travel easily. I'm 75 KG 180 Psi that set me a bit under 30% of sag.
Even going up by some fireman road quite smooth I use more than 50% of the...
I have also been long time on car scene and love to tune and work on my engine, Suspension......
I build up my VW transporter to 416 Bhp by myself and all guy's come to me and say's OH!you still on OEM brake's. You know you should upgrade brake before engine bla bla bla... Always this same...
Does anybody have a link to fox setting for Fox X2 performance. I can only find the setting for the X2 Factory with HSR and HSC
but the performance doesn't have those also number of click don't match with the performance.
My performance has 18 LSR and 22 LSC click. X2 Factory has 16 LSC and LSR...
It’s always compromise. Right size rotor for surface grip/ tire grip/ heat dissipation needed ( ratio of riding speed vs grip)
The only thing make me laugh is when I see those guys with sport car that spend thousand on big brake kit and will almost never go much faster than speed limit , mostly...
BY the way does somebody have fox factory setting for the X2 performance?
I can only find the X2 factory one's but number of click don't match with the performance.
My performance has 18 LSR and 22 LSC click
Same here using a lot of mid stroke on CRF S and I ride with rebound very Open.
So I add some compression and 5psi of air to see and look like it's better.
Did that to try before adding a token as I'm not sure I want to go that route as I just use the full travel.
it's the mid stroke that I...
By using a 2.6” tire at the back and 2.4 at the front you change the front back balance by 6mm in “theory “ so just 4mm from that 10mm increase of fork length. If I don’t mistake.
Wow this is intresting! did you put some offset bushing to lift the rear and keep same geometry just 10mm higher?
"Big betty" I thought you would have a "Taky Chan" at the rear
grinding effect on rotor circonférence. for one wheel turn the pads will grind on the disc on a much longer distance on a bigger rotor than a small one. Specially true for people who drag brake. ( always a bit braking)
I defenetly need to go back to 200mm as my 220 don’t have any color change compare to my ex 200 mm. Guideline from hope “ Disc size is important. A bigger size rotor will increase braking power but make sure you are generating enough momentum for the whole system to work at the optimal...
It's the first time I have 220mm rotor's in front and it's also the first time I lock my front wheel at entry of curve and then go out of my line. I even fall a couple of time because of that. Never happen to me on this bike park that I ride 2 or 3 time a week.
200mm is exaggerating the on off...
same for me. Only one I did not try are TRP, Trickstuff ( I had trickstuff pads on my code R) and Hope.
I only get bad report from friend on hope so no interest their.
Shigura was second best after Hayes
