I just bought my first bike that could not be derestricted. Strive:on with bosch rim magnet.
I thought It will be ok. But in fact it's really not!
Specialy with that Bosch motor that feel like an anchor pedaling past 25KM/H
the most frustrating was at the bike park in the alps where I could not...
I made a carton template at the size of the spec of the range extender and its too big too fit on Strive size small.
It will interfere with the shock. the corner that I mark in grey is where it will pass over the shock
About to leave the bike park in the Alps. Unfortunately have to go back work this afternoon. The bike is amazing. Much faster than my old Heckler. very playful when speed increase
It's the first time I can be in the back wheel of my friend with his Analog bike. He has higher level than me and...
What do you think of trying with Offset Bushing on rear shock 2 or 2.5mm each so 5 total. This should make the rear 10 to 12mm higher.
Like that you keep same geometry as original bike, but more front travel and little bit higher crank like Voima style.
Do you think it does not make any sense...
HI Rob did you have more time with the 180mm fork? Still enjoying it?
Did you set that fork more soft to use more travel than the 170mm?
Many question sorry. But very interest in that.
Going to spend a few days in the alps bike park from next Friday. I will see if I can give some color to this 220 mm disc 😄🤩. The 200km until now as been done 100% on the bike park next to my house. But it’s short 200 meter D-
I would just change
"Heavier riders and/or ebikes may benefits from larger rotors e.g due to increased braking power."
To
"Heavier riders and/or ebikes may benefits from larger rotors e.g due to better heat dissipation"
Because As some say's since the beginning even though larger rotor add...
So according to HOPE the 220mm that my Strive : on CFR came with is too big for me.
Here are picture of some of my old rotor's next to my Strive 220mm one's
The 180 are too small and the 200 are spot on for me
Ps: the 220mm rotor have been used for 200km
So you know better than HOPE engineers? I just copy that from what they published.

Every second month I have to block myself from buying an AP kit for my fast van. Just for the look and shaving a bit of weight ( aluminium center bowl and calipers).🤭
My bike already came from factory with 220 and I have a hard time to swap for 200mm even though I know it would be right. so also...
I fully understand this speed limit make sense as some of those motor's will be use on road and city. But they should have some kind of over boost like on car's in the 90's. maybe 5 second where you can have assistance between 25 and 50Km/h and then the 25 limit kick back on, and you can't use...
the more i ride this bike the more I love it. just trying to get the best out of it for my kind of riding.
the only thing i hate on it is not Canyon design but Bosch and it's this 25km/h limit that is not possible to change😈😈😈
the next time I buy a bike this will be a big "NO buy it" so...
Went this morning to test LSR fully open and LSC 3/4 closed felt super good downhill. Bike have very good pop for jump and felt very stable on rock garden.
I try LSC fully closed but was too harsh. try LSC half open and felt using too much travel.
Still using 50% to 75% of travel going uphill...
Did some test pedaling on the road access to my house ( dirt road) try 180 psi Compression fully open then fully closed then 185 psi Compression fully open then fully close. it's always about 50% of travel used No change.
look like it goes very easy through the first 50%. Maybe it's because...
