Before i read your comment i was just about to suggest to calibrate the torque sensor. Rocky recommends to do this regularly - it takes less than 10 seconds - i do it just about every time i ride it.
I have 12 speed XT (shifter, cassette, chain, derailleur) on my Altitude. Recently fitted a gold KMC X12 chain as the Shimano 8100 chain isn't plated and goes rusty very easily, thought i would try something different and add a little gold bling to match the bike.
I found that the KMC chain is...
The Shimano BT-E8036 630wh battery is specified as weighing 3.7kg. I cannot see a 745wh battery on the simplo website, but they do list a 720wh and 750wh battery pack weighing in at 4.2kg & 4.3kg respectively, i would assume then an increase of 0.5-0.6kg on this model.
FYI this slowly inflate and cycle that people keep touting is nonsense.
Rear shocks and forks have equalisation ports. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you inflate the system it will equalise as soon as it is cycled.
Great choice. Now you need a Topaz T3 for the rear.
I've just fitted one and the small bump is amazing... i reckon its also too soft off the top and i might add some negative spacers
Does that side stand tie the seat stay to the chain stay? It looks like it does... but it is hard to make out the picture?
FYI, there is a pivot on these two parts above the rear axel and they need to move independently
Merida has consistently jacked up the prices and lowered the specs in the passed couple years.
If you want to get the bikes together I can see what adjustments are possible via my laptop? You can confirm my tool will plug-in if the port on the screen is the same size as your E8000.
Very good. Do you still have the conical washers on the caliper bolts? These are not required with this style of adaptor - ideally you will want an M6x18mm bolt with just a flat washer.
I'm sure its possible. I have a SM-PCE02 adaptor and etube on my laptop, i might be able to plug in and help with this. I know the new motor uses a new wiring/di2 cable for the motor which is smaller diameter.... does this mean there is also a new datalink adaptor required?
Yep this display is junk and doesn't have Bluetooth. Not fit for purpose in my mind - depending on how the bike is advertised you may well be within your right to ask for a upgrade. You will have to upgrade the display to gain Bluetooth and access this functionality
