Some photos as promised.
I am 66 years old so “awesome” is not a word I use often if at all! But there is no other way to describe how this bike powers up hills.
Certainly, but it will have to be next week as that is when I will be back with the bike. Meanwhile, here are some pages from the user manual for the display ...
Well after a 15 month wait, I finally took delivery of my Haibike Flyon Alltrail 6.0.
I am probably not a typical emtb-er as I only use my bikes as “packhorses” to carry fishing and camping gear up rough trails and footpaths. No bouncing over rocks and roots for me! Which also means I am not...
Thanks for the review.
After waiting for over a year, my Flyon is sitting at the dealers waiting for me to return from holiday! Apparently, there are none of the Flyon model specific extras available yet from Haibike such as kickstands, panniers and lights. But looking forward to trying my...
I like the look of this rack as my current one is the same as the OPs and I will have the same problem with bigger tyres on a new bike. Perhaps a stupid question. Are the clamps suitable for bikes with carbon frames? Thanks.
I hope it is as that is what I am looking for - nothing subtle!
My dealer rang again this morning to say the bike had actually arrived today. He said it is a fantastic looking bike but that is of little interest to me:)
Really frustrating that after waiting so long I have to leave it with the...
But November which year?
I took my current Haibike (excellent bike) into my dealer for a service today. The (excellent) dealer said he has no idea when my Flyon, ordered in July 2018 following the barrage of media coverage, will be available because the dates keep changing. When I...
I emailed Haibike to ask what was going on and received a VERY bland response saying that dealers had all the information and should communicate it to customers. I replied saying that I did not think my dealer knew what was happening but there has been no reply to that comment.
Given the rave...
Good point well made:)
But if I have to wait that long it has at least saved me from wasting my money on a bike in Batch 1 which presumably has been a disaster:eek:
Age 66. Use my bike as a “packhorse” for carrying fishing equipment (float tube) and camping gear into the hills. Used to do it by foot but those days are gone!
Called into my dealer yesterday to ask and they say they have had no fresh information on delivery dates since being told “October” months ago when the March date was not met.
I fitted a Cane Creek Thudbuster ST to my hardseven and it made a big improvement to jarring my back bouncing along rough tracks. Expensive but worth it.
Thank you AJR. There seems to be very little information coming out of Haibike which does not inspire confidence. Given the season (for me) will be over by then I am not in a desperate rush to be a beta tester!
Does anyone know what is happening with Flyon deliveries? My (excellent) local shop say they have had no updates whatsoever since hearing 3 months ago it might be this autumn.
It is now over a year since I put down a deposit for a delivery in March 2019.
I have done “only” about 1000km as my typical trip is a 5-7 mile leg with a climb of 800-1500 ft and then back. No long runs. The tracks are pretty rough with a lot of loose scree. This uses about 60% battery and I am not a lightweight.
It’s a Yamaha. Bought in 2015. Not a + bike. 500w battery...
I have had my Hardseven for 4 seasons now. I use it as a packhorse to carry fishing and camping gear (perhaps 20kg at times on front and rear panniers) climbing up 1000ft or so on rough forest trails and hill tracks. All I have needed is routine maintenance as the bike has been faultless and if...
After quite a few more phone calls I am able to answer my own question!
The QR axle skewers are not specific to Old Mountain Man racks but are “normal” ones that are slightly longer. These longer skewers are widely available.
Hello All
I carry a lot of fishing and camping kit and want to fit a set of front panniers to my Haibike Hardseven. I managed to find a secondhand Old Mountain Man Sherpa rack but it does not have the supplied longer QR axle pin. The OMM website is closed and there is no reply to emails.
Does...
