if it is a Newmen hub below is the service video ( similar to the one you found). As per your video they release a compression screw on the drive side then fit their clamp tool onto the end cap on the disc side. So I would say you need to remove the rotor, undo that clamping screw on the drive...
When you install AXS the B stop screw should be just touching its stop. The to set the B gap use the white adjustment tool on the largest cog and chain on the second largest and adjust the B stop screw so that the pointer aligns with the centre of the bolt of the upper jockey...
No end caps on that hub. Remove the brake rotor. You then need cone spanners to remove the axle and service the cup and cone bearings. Lots of videos on yt to guide you.
I can't remember if kiox gave me a code...I remember it said sensor error which prompted me to take a look. It could be as I said a capacitor holding limp mode for a while but given time to discharge allows normal operation provided the reason for limp mode operation is removed. I have ridden my...
What we're the symptoms of limp mode? I ask because on a recent ride I ran over a hidden broken off Bush and my sensor cable was snagged pulling the sensor from it's holder on the chainstay. Easy fix to fit it back in but then when I tried riding the bike the motor assist just pulsed on and off...
try altering the angle of the mode changer on the bars. The more vertical you can get it the more positive the control on the buttons becomes.......same applies to the purion.
my most stupid one was a very narrow and winding single track ( probably created by cows) along the middle of a steeply sloping field. I stopped because I wanted to take a photo of the view ( coastal) and put my foot down on the lower side of the slope, on what I thought was a...
I spoke to tech support in Whyte Bikes ........on an unrelated topic.........but whilst chatting I asked him a bout the latch issue simply because On my Whyte E160 RSX which I have had for a year a covered over 1000kms I have had no such issue. He said there have been a few cases with Whyte...
bad luck mate. I recognise the syndrome.............my accidents mostly happen in the most innocuous circumstances.........thankfully none for over a year now!
One thing to try to learn, and it goes a gainst every natural instinct, is to avoid using your arms in a fall. Try to roll instead. I...
The bottom of the chain dancing is caused either by its release from the chainring or...more likely in my opinion.......some resistance from the jockey wheels in the mech. Mmm....is the chain fed correctly through the mech??
I notice 2 things in the video.
1. Whilst the wheel looks straight the tyre does not
2. The bottom of the chain seems to be vibrating
No idea if either actually is associated with the click but the bottom length of chain vibrating may suggest some chainwheel damage and the fact the tyre appears...
I can only imagine you are right in thinking th error was detected because the rear wheel had no resistance and the walk mode speed limit probably takes a ccount of that typical resistance when the motor is having to push just the weight of the bike.....let alone go uphill!
Whether you have a...
first set up....2 years ago. This was it on a low setting. The first thing it does is to teach you that it looks daunting but is pretty easy. I dont have a more recent video but we progressed to using it at max height ...which is when it lives up its "kicker" branding! We are both now hitting...
I think there is a difference between not being switched on and "off" selected as a mode. Not totally sure why but it is probably to do with the fact that if the system is switched on but "off" as a mode selected the motor is still powering the torque sensor etc on the crankshaft.
true.............and the only reason it was worth the money for me , was the ability to not only pack it easilly into the van but also "back pack" it. That meant I could drive to the forest then carry it on my back to ride to various spots to set it up. So you can set it up on a downslope, or...
check out this one as well.................I bought one and it helped me improve my jump technique. The key thing is to set it up on a slight downhill slope...so that the landing is on a down slope..............and yes...for kids...also on grass!.

I run Fox 38 on 2 bikes............1 emtb optimised Fox Factory, the other a Performance Elite ( not EMTB optimised)
The Fox factory is set up almost in line with Fox recommendations except for air pressure .......quite a bit less than Fox recommendation
The Performance Elite being non EMTB...
