I recently left my bike in the shed for 3 months at 100% charge during one of the worst Aussie summers in Central Oz, over 40º every day (just too god damn hot to ride). The first ride out and the battery didn't last long although 5 bars were showing on the battery, in reality it had probably...
We all know you're the resident expert on all things global Gary and that you were a legend in your day and no one can ever match your achievements but for general ebike riding there isn't any need to over spring your bike, except in your case because you are the dirt legend!!
I always try and make sure I set my front and rear so that on the maximum hits it is just a whisker from full stroke and then control my compression and rebound accordingly. Too many people run too much PSI to control bottoming out rather than their compression adjustment.
There's absolutely...
Leave it at 60% and ride tomorrow if you think you'll get it you through.
I always leave my battery as it is after a ride and charge it the night before my next ride.
Petrol may not play nicely with some of the rubber chainstay protectors, also any hydrocarbon degreaser will be the same, alkaline degreasers are bad news for paint and clear coats.
I just use a heavy duty truck wash degreaser such as this:
I don't know which bike you rode but my Shimano in boost mode is ridiculous, so much so that I rarely use it, even trail is way more than I need most of the time, 75% of my ride is usually in eco mode. @Husky430
The hole in the swingarm looks way to small to accommodate a mechanical cable but it must be possible because non Di2 bikes have the same swingarm, maybe they remove the rubber grommet to do so.
Or you can do this:
Knock up a little axle stand to get the rear wheel off the ground, stick the bike in the lounge room in front of the big screen TV, find an awesome POV MTB video on Youtube and go nuts petending its you doing the ride on the screen. How easy is it to jump that gap when it's...

You should see them here in Oz, every store has been stripped bare and there has been fights galore. Police are now patrolling to toilet paper isle. Mince meat is like gold at the moment and all stores now have 1-2 item buy limits and they also open from 7-8 in the morning for seniors and...
I wouldn't bother, I left my fully charged battery unused for over 3 months and had my first ride the other day. Although it showed 5 bars, I got significantly less riding kms than I did before. In essence it looks like it lost capacity from 100% down to 82-3%, enough to keep it in 5 bars but...
