Agree, Just make the seat post angle, actual 77deg 👌and longer seatpost insert with different shock position. For referance Vmg are getting 443mm chainstay w m510 and 29” 🤩

From a ‘high load’ point of view, position of the crack is not, were you would expect high concentration of forces. Therefor I will put my bet on paint/filler issue. Paint softness, is the most negative point on these bikes in my opinion.

I had the same queation in the Reign e+ 2022, thread: Hope 155mm is the recomendation.

Thank you for a detailed answer. I understand from your reply that the motor type that takes up most space around BB, defines the chainstay, as you often make same frame with different motor types, and of corse tire size. OLI is new to me, interesting option :) The low powered ebikes (35-60NM)...

Dear Jim-lee, From DIY point of view, Bafang is the easiest to buy the whole system from. I would love to see LCES801, for Bafang m800. But on general notes, the chainstay length of your frames is often quiet longer than the average. BR

Shorter cranks? I have size large with 165mm cranks, I am heading for 155 or 150mm cranks. FSA and Hope, have some, but any experiance or suggestions on this matter would be appriciated ☺

No. The shock does not use the last 2,5mm, as it is limited with spacer, from 65mm to 62.5mm. My plan is to add tokens, and remove spacer for more travel.

I found the best effect of getting the rear poppy, was to increase pressure/less sag, after that I switched back to low setting, for that planted feeling.
