I ride them all the time, no issues. I’m always polite and compliment their dog or something. Seems to work.

Yesterday I rode up a 1:2 gradient. Only about 20 feet but still almost killed me. Did it in the big gear in EMTB mode and struggled to keep the front down while the rear spun up. I’m not entirely sure why I did it.

Where do you live? Maybe you need a riding buddy or to find new places. Or get yourself some basic tools and find some new trails amongst the debris.
