I did a chunky G-out and my rear rim became so loose that it was wobbling.
This wheel had been built especially for this bike by a local shop but the spokes had become quite loose.
Point is that I don't think this wheel/ tire would have rubbed the Relay chainstays if I had not had a wheel...
IMO, E-bikes really are going in the wrong direction, and this is another step in that direction. Heavy, fast, expensive, automated...
Old man screams at clouds...
I'm not getting on great with the Martello as it seems to skip and glide a lot more on top of rocks and loose trail. It is wearing quite well however.
I have some other tires to test but pretty sure I'm just going to be an Aggressor 2.5 guy for the rear of this bike as it did a lot of things...
The only thing unusual there, is that top cap.
Loosen the stem, lift it up straight off the steerer (if your front tire is off the ground the entire front fork is going to fall out of the bottom of the headtube), place the smallest spacer you can find between the frame and the stem, then place...
It is definitely a unique bike. Are you finding that with the bike being so light, and you being lighter, that you still need the Bosch motor?
Cause swapping frames to say a Heckler SL with your build (maybe going to a single crown) would get you well under 40#s. My XL Relay frame/ motor/...
Stems are not 'adjustable'. They come in a fixed length and rise. Some can be flipped upside down to make to reverse the rise.
All of these changes that you are considering, have considerable effect on how the bike handles assuming you ride somewhat aggressively.
If the ETT (effective Top Tube...
None of us know for certain if our scales are 100% correct, but that's a hell of a weight for an Al frame, Bosch motor, 500 wh battery & a freakin dual crown fork.
I do see you have very light Berd wheels and Exo tires.
Congrats.
There seems to be a fair bit of variance from all of the electric motors, even the same model.
But I ride with a buddy on a new Levo SL and I'm on a Relay and I can hear his motor clearly 15' away over my motor that I'm sitting on top of. I've also ridden the HP TQ50. If I were to rate the TQ...
This is my preferred profile.
Basically, you can get full power in any setting, but low settings require a lot more effort to get the full power.
Breeze (low) setting requires 350 watts input to get 350 watts assistance.
River (mid) setting requires 225 watts input to get 350 watts assistance...
The Loam Wolf review mentioned that something about the Heckler SL frame design seemed to cause a lot of resonance/ noise to be heard from the F60 motor that isn't present in other F60 iterations.
I can tell you that I don't even hear my F60 on my Relay.
Although I can't speak to your particular experiences, it's a bit absurd to suggest that Avy tunes are ideal for novices on groomed trails.
I personally know of some very aggressive racers in the local Pro class, on his stuff on very technical terrain.
Craig at Avalanche knows his stuff and he is incredibly generous with his time and knowledge. In my experience, he doesn't mind when people request clarification; but it rubs anyone wrong if someone calls in and starts quoting the University of U-Tube or their internet acquaintances as...

Now it's an easy choice for a FF e-bike. This is the one I'd be buying if I was in that market.
I ride with a friend that has the SL2. The battery is too small, the motor a bit loud & the geo missed the mark imo. Add a larger battery and the weight matches the Heckler. Add a larger removable battery, Enduro geo, a bash guard, 210mm dropper, and tool mounts & it now weighs as much as a Relay.
