I am sorry to see such an interesting brand shut down and I always liked Leo's general style and the ideas and design of the bikes.
That said, I've known of exactly 2 Poles personally in my market, and both failed spectacularly, one within an hour. Then I read exactly 2 Pole reviews, in total...
I rode my bike and e-bike a combined 3x over the course of last weekend. Sunday night in the hot tub my legs locked up so badly I couldn't move, and my kid had to run inside, grab me some salt tabs, and feed me like I was an Orca at Seaworld.
You can certainly get exercise while on an e-bike.
This pretty much jives with the reviews I've seen of the MGU. Loud, clunky, inefficient.
I do think it's the future of full power ebikes, but not the immediate future.
Aluminum Transitions are always anchors.
Spring for the CF.
That said, it's not as light as some other's because it's built robust, has the geo it has, a bash guard, a removable battery, huge dropper, etc. All of these things add weight.
Been on the same batch of molten speed wax since I nearly started riding 9 years ago.
It's so simple, reliable, effective & clean.
I don't spend nearly the effort you guys do stripping a new chain. 2 mineral spirit soaks more than does it.
I'm a total tire killer and generally really damage any...
It's only a 1 mph difference in the assist cut off speed if you are running the 29er set up but with a 27.5" rear wheel.
Only a Fazua dealer has the software to make the change.
I had persistent rattling noises even after checking several things.
So then I just grabbed some gasket sealant and squeezed it into the head tube cable ports right around the cables, and problem solved.
Bike is dead quiet now.
I really enjoy this bike a great deal.
I wouldn't consider that particularly steep or abrupt from the photo, having certainly learned that photos rarely give terrain justice.
There is a local drop with a terrible lead in and it's about 14' down. To top it off the trails leading to this drop are easy XC trails, meaning that's usually...
My Fazua 60 owners manual has specific instructions on this.
Like I said, plug in the battery first, then to the wall.
If you have a switched outlet that's fine as you are just transferring the connection, and the possible resultant spark, to the switch. Which is the goal, to keep that away...
Always plug in the battery to the charger first. Then plug the charger into the wall.
If you insert a plug or even just turn on a wall switch in the dark is not uncommon to see a small blue spark as the electricity makes a leap. You don't want that spark at your battery.
I feel the only way to get a real handle on the actual weights of these bikes is track down the frame only weights.
Some guys weigh their mediums, and others their XL, some with pedals, tools, inserts, longer dropper, DH tires, etc.
All of that stuff can make a solid 2 Kilo difference.
That...
The ring controller, which I initially had no issues with, is problematic.
I've got the updated version (on my Relay) but it now sticks, even when the clamping bolt is completely removed.
I like to flip my bike over for maintenance but the ring controller ends up sitting directly against the...
During the PB review of the pedal bike version of the Onni (Sonni) the reviewers complained quite a bit about the rigidity and harshness of the chassis and the excessive feedback that the frame transmitted to the rider.
The bike also bottomed very hard and very often for the testers.
Any...
The Neat for very light trail bike, Relay for shred-dy midpower for people that love to pedal, Crestline for the full power guys that live in real mountains with 1 way trails.
