Not trying to discount @GrahamPaul 's experience, but since I do notice a modest difference on the Eco/Tour+ switch and also noticed a very marked difference going from Tour to Tour+ in the power curve and torque sensitivity, these kinds of tests are too subjective for someone who hasn't already...
I'm currently using a Hangover and Trail Evo from Outbound Lighting.
Outbound Lighting | The Best Bike Lights for Night Riding
The illumination is very even and it only takes a few seconds to snap everything into place once the lights are charged up. They're not Magicshine budget lights, but...
Sorry for the slow response. I'm scrambling to adjust to a new job and haven't been watching the forums as much lately.
I do have an Edge 130 (non-plus). I thought I would love it because I have a long history with very tiny cyclecomputers (Avocets and then small Cateyes for 30 years)...
I have the -1 but the clearance on the -2 is so tight (I already expect to flip the battery compartment latch in a fall and I’m also using the +6mm crown spacer) that I suspect it isn’t going to work.
In general, the Garmin 530 is a safe choice if you want a lot of features. The 830 is similar but adds touchscreen and a few navigation features that I think mostly benefits roadies. The software ecosystem is a hot mess though. It's a user interface disaster of epic proportions that deserves a...
Getting my SRAM AXS shifter pod to sit in the way that I want for comfortable shifting has turned out to be much harder than I ever imagined it would be. The clearance to my TRP DHR Evo brake lever clamps is incredibly tight (limiting left-right movement) and the revised shift lever sits too...
I'm pretty sure Tour+ only cares about your torque and cadence (regardless of Bosch marketing fluff), but the amount of power you need to put down to access higher assist levels might be more than a lot of people can do.
The first time I really gave Tour+ the beans was like nonstop interval...
I'm using AXS on my Wild with a Shimano 12-speed cassette and chain. Works quite well and I'm pretty sure you'd find that the derailleur does what it promises.
If by "fully wireless" you mean AXS Reverb as well, just make sure you read about the reliability problems people have had with that...
I just weighed the equivalent Cell Cycling setup with an XTR 9100 derailleur and the Remount 22 "hack". It came in at 401g and as a whole still costs less than GX AXS.
GX AXS still makes more sense for a typical rider who may be interested in wireless shifting with minimum hassle, but Cell can...
Harsh, harsh. You must imagine we're out here polishing the anodizing and paint off our bikes with our thighs. :)
Seeing as I live in the US:
- I don't have to dream about 32kph.
- The local hornets' nest of beardy ramblers is hostile to us regardless if we're pushing 32kmh, 25kph, or...
2020 Decoy specs say that it uses 200mm rotors front and rear. If you actually have a 200mm rotor out back and the caliper is threaded directly into the posts with no adapter, then a +40 would be too much.
It was simply to make a point. :) If you want a more extreme example a 130lb roadie at 30 is still going to have substantially more energy than a 250lb e-biker at 20.
I'll say that a 32kph limit makes riding from home over a few miles of asphalt to the trailhead and back a much more practical...
Sorry to hear you're going through that @apac. What a serious bummer to get the vaccine and still get sick regardless. :(
I had *something* really bad last March just like RustyMTB describes - I caught whatever it was when I was working in a tiny conference room with a sick colleague trying to...
Eh gents, Physics 101 and E = 1/2 mv^2 ? A 150lb whippet on a 15lb road bike at 30mph will hit you with ~50% more energy than a 200lb Clydesdale on a 50lb eMTB at 20mph.

Product name: 3D Printed Bosch Kiox Headset Spacer Mount
Price paid: 30 Euros shipped
Score (out of 10): 5
Review: The stock Orbea clamp mount for the Bosch Kiox always drove me nuts. It's flimsy, brushing against it will easily knock the Kiox into some weird angle, and it...
