I'm planning to perform non-ICR conversion this weekend. My biggest worry is that the bearing cups of my new headset (upper nukeproof, lower acros) will come loose just like the current SZZT's cups which were factory glued in. Did you encounter this problem, should I be prepared to glue them...
@TCFlowClyde when you did conversion to non-ICR headset, did you keep your cable housings used with ICR headset? I have the same layout as you (shifter/brake on the left, dropper on the right) and I'm wondering if their length will suffice. I'd rather avoid replacing the housings as routing the...
Replacable batteries in cef50 are game changer for me. I will consider ordering V3 with non-ICR headset to replace my current one (or just a front triangle without hardware if it matches). But I don't quite understand what I see here, on pics with grey frame the battery opening is from the top...
I used 22.2x8 (with RS Super Deluxe Ultimate). It's not easy to push them in but it's doable with a bit of grease and wit.
These are the ones I used 0.79£ 83% OFF|Mountain Bike Rear Shock Absorber Bushings, Rear Wheel Shock Absorber| | - AliExpress . The 2. option you list requires you to...
I have a similar effect. It seems like the controller is unable to take battery level measurements as long as I'm pedaling uphill and engine is running. During the ascent battery level stays constant, only after I stop pedaling I see a sudden battery percentage drop by 5-10%. Is this the same...
I can't say it's completely solved but the creaking happens much less frequently now and I don't feel headset knocking on the handlebar. There's still a bit of creaking which seems to be caused by uneven pressing of top bearing cup (left is ~0.3mm higher than right) but front-back skew of...
Interesting development regarding OEM ICR headset creaking. At some point I started noticing the gap between headset top cap and the bearing cup underneath it is skewed, ie. wider at back than at front. After putting some thoughts into this I came to the conclusion this is probably caused by the...
These numbers are beyond my comprehension. I use like 60% of my 480Wh battery to ride 45km with similar elevation, all in E/T mode. How is your 43% even possible, do you have some super strong legs and constantly ride > 25kmph disabling the power assist?
The shock mounting bolts are very soft and imbus tolerances with them not very strict. Be very careful with them, too much threadlocker or too strong one is as bad as no threadlocker - you might easily snap the bolt.
The top (rocker-side) mounting bolt dimensions are in the pic...
Are you sure this bolt from the link has right diameter? Cuz the shock mounting hardware has 8mm internal diameter, so I guess this should be M8 bolt rather than M6? Or maybe the screw ID is M6 and OD of the sleeve is M8?
Folks, when doing routine check if threadlocker holds my suspension mounting bolts I managed to round the imbus socket on M8 shock mounting screw in the rocker (pic below). The threadlocker apperently was holding tight and imbus socket tolerance on OEM screw seems very loose... Anyway, I need to...
Please elaborate. Is this awkward-looking, blockish bottle actually a watter bottle not a battery or there's no downtube battery and the only battery is this blockish bottle?
IMHO everything you can do with Go+ app can be done with BESST. Not so the other way around. Actually, the functionality of Go+ app is very limited, you can't even setup proper wheel size. I'd skip Go+ and go for BESST.
At this moment I'm under the impression that this might not be a battery issue but rather some metering problem. Anyway, I ordered a bluetooth coulometer to monitor the voltage & current as I ride and I will try recording a movie with the exact moment SoC is jumping on HMI, what are the exact...
