I don't think the charger is intelligent at all or uses canbus and my charger just seems to have a standard 5.5mm jack. The other specs all look pretty much the same.
I've been trying to put useful things in the "tech thread" when I remember :-) it's too easy for things to get lost in the main threads.
Probably needs a "faults/fixes" thread too to make life easy as we learn things !!
Yes, fingers crossed Vitus pull through this. An excellent but easily...
They're probably ok. A 36v battery normally charges to about 42v so you use a 42v charger.
This looks similar too : (2a not 3a, but the bike was spec'd to come with a 2a but comes with a 3Amp charger)
goto amazon.fr and search for "B08S3NHCQ4"
I'm nearer Pontivy - so not really near enough...
Welcome James ! Great choice of bike :-)
This might help :
There is a thread with lots of useless crap like that.

I'm central Brittany if you need a quick charge.
You see a lot of EMTBers starting to use the new "MuddyFrame" and "MudWrap" products on their bikes nowadays.
Some of the more expensive versions even have "Real dried mud" incorporated into the wrap to give a 3d effect and "A texture which even feels like you took your bike outside"
It gets less warm than you'd think.
I did mess around over a few days with a hub motored bike with an external battery (most things are exposed so you can monitor things more easily).
The warmer bits are the brake caliper and the actual cable going to the motor :
Different day : again, the...
"Smart Control" in Mission Control (Spesh) pretty much does that. I've not used it for years, but it used to work pretty well. Set your distance and expected elevation and how much battery you want left at the end and it then controls the level of assistance you get through the ride. It...
ok, so for testing/reference.
I just tried that on mine ...
Working bike. Powers on fine.
Opened battery and lowered just enough to press the power. Pressed and it came up red, held and eventually it cycled blue green red and put the battery back. Pressed the power button - nothing :)...
New thread .. I'm not banned here :)
Apologies for calling you a prick.
If we start at the beginning and your initial "data" for your conclusion :
Your argument that the 1.1 motor used 35% battery, yet for the same ride the 1.2 used only 37% - so therefore it can't be 30% more powerful...
If you short these two pins for a few seconds, it's the same as pressing the power on button :
That would help identify if it's the buttons or not.
Have used mine extensively in the wet so you have to wonder if there's either an assembly issue with some of the buttons letting water in, the...
We've seen a few different gearbox's, MGU's, Hub gear systems ..
This one is a bit more unusual - the video explains it best :
As far as I can tell, it only gives you two speeds. 42 and 24 and I can't see it lasting long in a traditional MTB environment.
With 250w (average presumably) and 65nm, it appears to be heading into the lightweight territory.
Appears it will properly launch on the 1/1/24 .
The motor will pair with an in house 497wh battery.
Does it never end ?
You just keep taking random data and bits of information and twisting them to try and fit with your "view" - which I'm still not clear what it is as you say you have more torque and have demonstrated with "data" that you have more power.
Things like :
So yes, a 1.1 motor...
