    Right to Roam - UK

Ah yes... House of Lords. I'm still looking for a good description of how that institution is allowed to exist in a supposed democracy. (At the same time, I suppose you could explain how an hereditary monarch is the head of state - with powers which allow a prime minister to ignore parliament...

    Right to Roam - UK

I think you are being unfair there. I also doubt that the police will be doing roadblocks on bridleways. However, those officious twats - Community Support Officers? (I left Britain a good while ago but have crossed swords with these ignorant bullies on the odd trip back to the benighted isle) -...

    Right to Roam - UK

So the important question remains: "Will a liberal application of mud defeat the facial recognition cameras?"

I understand that this legislation applies to England. A country famous for its (mis)use of legislation "aimed" at other things... ?

Shouldn't worry about it. I got seriously demoted as well. Probably my fault for agreeing with something Gary said. ?

Insane rattle from motor. SLT w/ Gen 4

If it's rattling under load then it's not the (in)famous Bosch motor rattle - which comes from the freewheel, which ain't free when it's under load... There is a film on YouTube which shows how Cube have mounted the motor into the frame - and the bolts loosened badly. It's in German but you...

    Bosch gen4 2021 85nm upgrade?

I certainly did. I thought they'd reduced the motor power (and actually phoned them to ask) because it felt so much gentler. The following day went out and bagged 2 Strava KOMs while thinking I was riding slower than usual

Read the label, Steve, read the label... it's to rid oneself of certain mental images...

    Its arrived ?

Good to hear. My missus loves hers. Not sure I can recommend lights, other than to say that J's bike came already fitted with lights, so Focus have a dedicated set.

    Bikeshop is cleaned out!

Maybe. But the thing about shop assistants in Germany is that you will always get unvarnished, blunt truth. Even if it means losing a sale. Wife to shop assistant: "And what do you think of this?" Shop assistant: "It does absolutely nothing for you." Well, she did ask...

    Bikeshop is cleaned out!

Loads of bikes in all the shops I've been to here in Cádiz province in the past couple of weeks. I think pocket money is a bit short here... Maybe you should plan a weekend getaway, buy your new bike and then have two weeks in the garage putting it together... ?

    Larger front chainring

I believe the Cube Reaction is a Hardtail and so the chain is one to two links shorter than that needed for a Fully according to the fitting instructions.

    Review Tannus tyre armour

Might be worth putting the calipers on your tyre and seeing what it's width really is. My Schwalbe Nobby Nics are sold as 2.6" but measure 2.5".
