@ornias wrote how it works.
Bafang is bigger. Bosh is bigger. If you can design the engine, make documentation, do all procedures and rate that in same way as Bafang did to 250W then go on.
i am not saying thats good its restricted. I am saying you cant get M620, put a sticker to it its 250W...
For me a throttle is great option when i would like to go on ebike to work (white shirt, better shoes and trousers etc) because i need to look more 'business' than 'casual' so paddling is not an option, its also good for older people and its just giving a choice.
You want to paddle or your...

I have readed this article.
„Space occupied by cars” what a dumb sentence, jezzz.
City is for people, and people are using cars. Bikes nobody wants because theyre mostly useless except fun and recreation purposes for most people.
Except two small cities in europe the bikes...
In my humble opinion - there is no legal way to use as in the 'bicycle' and full safe way to get this motor in EU.
For the EU best option is M500 at now and probably (from the oem ready engines, not upgrades like bbs01b tsdz2 etc) will be M510 (we will see the possibilities of derestrict when...
That a thing what will be super awesome to look on. If someone have it - pls let me know.
I am also looking for M500 on 15Amps or M600 cut to 15Amps (or just lower than stock).
In other hand even bbshd is on plastic gears, but probably overall construction is far way different.
@VMG Chris the M510 is the same size as M500 or is slightly larger in similar way as M600 is?
At now i am on 710W at cost 0.00$ ;) Thats better deal. By adding shunt resistor for 1$ i could make it for 1kW on M600 firmware, but i am worrying about the plastic gear.
Or even more, maybe even slightly over 16 A max. 70% charge is 50V, so 16A*50V = 800. Surely worth more testing.
There is no doubt - M510 looks awesome in numbers. Yay, i would like to have such one instead of my M500.
I am curious what it inside - the two metal gears or still one in plastic...
If you're buying the new engine - imo its better to pay more and get new revision, but if you owe the M500 - hard to say - for now i will stick with my m500.
