Riding the EXe compared to a full fat, you are shifting gear way more, the T type really comes into its own as you do not have to think about easing off the power, just shift when you need to and keep on on cranking!
I run the wolf tooth t type specific chain ring and it works perfectly.

but like I said on Sunday, ride up, don't do the uplift and it becomes a very enjoyable, chilled out, do your own thing kind of day. I hated getting on the uplift, but riding up changes it completely and you stay away from all the crowds......
Range extender question.
Caveat - I don’t really understand electrics.
The RE is 160wh
The main battery is 320wh
When using the RE, how is the motor able to pull full power from such a small battery? It uses the RE before the main battery, so I don’t understand how the motor get can full...
all my rides are with the range extender
I have had (and I use a mix of eco, mid and full assist)
19.5 miles, 2,200ft with 50% battery left (starting with 150% with range extender)
17.1 miles, 3000ft with about 12% battery left
I ‘think’ I have the grinding noise issue.
It happens reasonably infrequently, but it does happen on every ride.
It’s almost like when you are pedalling at speed and trying to catch up with the gear you are in. I feel as though I’m pedalling too quickly with no assistance and the grinding...
I didn’t use braided lines. Can’t see the point.
The frame has tubes in it for routing the hose, you should be able to just push the new hose through. But yes, connecting old to new should do the job nicely.
