on my sl the salesman broke it when i bought the bike, no big deal i thought just buy a new part, wrong , the only option seems to be buy a whole new harness just to use the charge port door, they look very similar if not identical
i was thinking that as well , but apparently the update for early release sls involves rotating the pedals while the bike is hooked up to the computer so who knows if this will be a diy update
on the SL i have to slam the seat all the way forward or it feels like i'm behind, with the steeper seat tube angle of the rise i didn't get that feeling
With the range extender you can run the SL at full assist for 30+ miles
Vs. the ff levo it will definitely slow on the hills but stay with it everywhere else
Rise would be nice too but backordered
i just did this yesterday, on the SL , a .8 orange spacer is installed , so 3rd largest out of 4. I am guessing the ff levo is the same. A strap wrench helped unscrewing the air can but the shock can stay on the bike so pretty simple.
i test rode a rise and i really liked it. It was quiet aside from the knock in the motor every time you freewheeled. I liked the steeper seat tube as it put me more forward. If I were to do it over again i would go for the rise but i really like my sl. Lately i have been using 60/80/100 power...
I was able to test ride one yesterday, I. liked it. It was quiet and smooth. The only thing i noticed was when you stopped pedaling there was a distinct knock from the motor. Is this normal? It could not be replicated riding over dirt or hopping the curb
I did the ota update w/latest ios and 2.4.1 as 243 didn't seem to be an option unless perhaps delete and reinstall. No issues although i haven't ridden it
i got a tear in the tread the other day about 2 inches long, it was weird all the air blew out instantly , not a chance of the sealant working. I ended up walking about a mile home even though i had a tube, i wasn't sure if
a tube would work. I added this to the kit, park tool tb2 emergency...
