I found the total opposite... i found carbon rims rode way to harsh that i went back to alloy ... they are brilliant when hitting corners through rough sections as they go where you point them....but i felt so fatigued after every ride. this was a few years ago when they first came out...

It can very so much ... some days ill get about 40km with 1800m climbing ...other days ill get about 60km with 1000m climbing ... I no longer look at distance ...but vertical gain ... on a flat road i can get 100km ... some rides only 25km when im going 2300m of climbing.
