Any answers at Spesh day about motor and moisture issues ?

Not sure where you saw £399 for a 1.3 but the link you have posted is definitely for a 1.2 motor. Anything starting with C911 is a 1.2. The 1.3 motors all start with C972. In 2018 I paid for a brand new ‘Assisted Replacement’ 1.2 motor from Rutland cycles via Specialized for £449. For someone...

    Riding without a battery?

I believe it takes 20 minutes to remove the battery and you can also power the bike by just using the extender. I think that may allow you to do what you were after or something close to it.

If Kenevo had this, it could easily climb anything

shorter cranks will assist you so you can be lazy and unskilled and forget the trail underneath your pedals

If Kenevo had this, it could easily climb anything

The feature is on the older Lyriks and Pikes. The key wording to look for is Dual Position. As far as I am aware RockShox stopped adding the Dual Position feature to its forks in 2017 or possibly 2018. Dom, it physically shortens and drops the front end by 30mm. Personally, I hardly ever use it...

If Kenevo had this, it could easily climb anything

A manually operated version already exists. Both main players have different variations of reduction in fork travel which is controlled via a switch on top of the fork. On my Lyrik you can go instantly from 180mm to 150mm just by turning the switch clockwise and back again by turning the switch...

    Strava "EMTB Forums Club"

It’s probably down to a database job ‘running’ at a weird and wonderful time or ‘not running’ frequently enough to update all the squillions of rides people are uploading on to the Strava system servers on a daily basis. As it is a global application I can only imagine how large this actual...

    Don't ignore stiff cranks!!!

Thanks for confirming Bearing Man. Sad and worrying to know Brose have done sweet FA to seal their newer 2019 model engines. 2019 Levo motors. Yes, we will make it lighter using magnesium, yes we will make it more powerful, what? add a simple seal or 2 into the engine to stop water getting in...

    Don't ignore stiff cranks!!!

As far as I am aware the 2020 is no different to the 2019. Just to confirm, this is the 2019 Levo motor I am talking about and not the older 1.2 and 1.3 versions which is pictured below this one. 2019, 2020 Levo motor Not this one. 2017, 2018 Levo motor

    Don't ignore stiff cranks!!!

Specialized dealers used to do a slightly discounted replacement motor price for out of warranty motors. I believe they called it an ‘assisted purchase’. It was £449 for a 1.2 engine in May 2018. Fitting was £50. However..... I have just called the concept store in Nottingham and priced up a...

    Don't ignore stiff cranks!!!

I presume you have not had the latest 2019 Brose Mag S motor apart yet just the 1.2 and 1.3s? If by chance you have had the newer motor apart have they improved the seals on them?
