I'll have to wait and see when I have my bike and the guard (It's scheduled for delivery Thursday next week). I'll keep the thread updated.
It seems to be such a shame that this one issue is the Achilles heel of this bike.
This is a interesting resolution/fix. I can imagine that this will be the way that Canyon 'fix' the Problem on some of the Strive's. When my Strive:ON arrives I have a spare bash guard (as well as a couple of other bits too). I think I'll be designing and 3D printing this 'fix'. If successful...
I'm waiting on delivery of a Canyon Strive:ON. Looking at screen options as the Bosch Smart System doesn't integrate with Garmin. Is the Kiox 300/500 wireless/Bluetooth?

@Rob Rides EMTB has this wired feature on his Canyon Strive:ON. When I upgrade/smash my rear mech I'll be upgrading to the new AXS GX drivetrain. I'd really like to wire it into the massive bike battery
Joined the club! Placed my order for a Strive:ON CFR this morning….glad I didn’t order a few days ago as there’s a 5% discount now. RESULT! Added a spare bash guard, cable clips and the protective foil set to my order too. My plan is to scan the foils before I fit them. I’ll then make them from...
I've found that it's the first 100 or so PSI that's the most important to cycle the shock for. Compress it around 5 times each 30psi. As @Mikerb says, it needs to be done to let the shock equalise for it to work correctly
I got to see my friends Strive:On today in the carbon. Great looking bike and the position feels great. Very lucky to have had the opportunity to sit on a bike that is an online only purchase. The Large felt perfect. It’s given me the confidence that the Large is the right size for me
After a 48 hour period of doubting whether I should go for the Orbea Wild so I can buy from a bricks and mortar local bike shop I'm firmly back in the Canyon Strive:ON camp! I've been reading the Orbea Wild thread and there was enough stories and posts about frame quality finish that I thought...
I've always found the rear Fox shock on my Orbea Rise to be overly 'soft' if I set the PSI according to the Fox recommendation and at 30% sag. I get a way better feel and a more managed use of the shock stroke if I set to 25% sag. I know they are different bike with different kinematics but it's...
