Quick update.
I may end up starting a different thread, as the following is somewhat delving into "DIY" territory.
But. I am now learning about 48v battery packs which uses the same dimensions and potentially the same battery mounting design as the existing BTF16 630wh battery.
I'm awaiting...
Bizarre!!!
I know that some Throttles don't have dead spot zones around the ring. Which allows them to initiate movement quicker than others. But the controller ultimately governs how much power can be applied.
It's possible that the controller was on the verge of failing regardless of the...
Quick update,
I'm slowly getting details as to particular parts on both the E-Mythique and E-Sentier.
Please kindly bear with me. I'll update the thread further, once I've got confirmation as to who and where you need to go for parts👍🏿
More than likely @skismith . Increasing voltage usually increases efficiency in terms of flow of energy from battery to motor.
Although on a personal note, I am curious whether the BTF16 630wh battery can still discharge at -20°😅
It's difficult to say at this point @skismith . Usually, I prefer to have concrete data to verify any facts if I'm comparing.
The only Bosch Gen4 emtb which I have (which is rideable as I'm awaiting for parts on a side project build) is my Whyte E150 which has been set up as a mullet E160...
...As always Zimms, it's a pleasure to bump paths with you the forum....again!!
It's up to you if you want to believe that I'm bullsh**ing you. I won't waste your time (or mine), convincing you otherwise.
Because 'clearly', you have access TO THIS!!!
So perhaps I'll take my leave from this...
Just as I thought!!
A 32t chainring works better on the E-Mythique LT compared to the 34t.
I'll obviously use a better chainring, as this one cost me £7 (alloy chainring NOT STEEL). But the mechanical advantage (in conjunction with the parameter amendments of the M510 motor), have definitely...
Yes. I am now running the E-Mythique level 5 (Race Mode) at 500% with acceleration set to 6. Naturally, the over-run feature has increased. But This Is only for the highest level of assist👍🏿
Apologies for the delay Jimmy.
I have been told by others that it is getting increasingly more difficult to set up an account with Bafang to use the BESST Tool.
I set mine up near 2 years ago, in anticipation of building up the Dengfu E10. But it wasn't straight forward.
Whilst I'm a bit...
I'm pretty sure the torque sensors on the M510 models are the same, regardless of the generation.
Amending the startup angle from 15° to 8° is noticable, as the motor can engage quicker from standstill. Think of it like a rear hub with more points of engagement👍🏿
It's possible Dado.
I've refrained from comparing the E-Mythique Lt to the E10 (too many discrepancies). But I'm still tinkering with the E-Mythique Lt. So I'll share my findings.
Amending the startup angle to 8° has DRASTICALLY!! improved the bike's performance👍🏿
You can only amend the speed, governed by the top speed set by the firmware. So if the motor Is set to 15.5mph, the Bafang go+ app won't allow you to increase the top speed. Only besst pro can do that (subject to the firmware).
You can decrease the top speed with Bafang go+.
Similarly, you can't...
Besst tool and besst Pro are good for diagnostics and changing firmware on motors (CANBus).
Nearly all of the parameters (in terms of motor tune) can be amended with the Bafang go+ app, provided the motor's firmware permits parameters to be amended via the app.
The M820 is one of the newer...
So I'm opting to run a tyre insert in the rear, when running my CEF50 as a 29er.
But I've gone about it in a very unusual way.
Polyethylene Foam seems to work just fine. The weight increase of the rear wheel is negligible. But it does allow me to continue to use the DHR2 exo 2.4 tyre without...
