No problem. I’ll show you how to ride properly without falling off. :)
I don’t ride in Surrey much, so you’ll have to put up with the Hampshire & Berkshire Alps.
That looks like a good solution as well. Having it mounted on the stem now frees up the left side of the bars to put my phone. The bell is on the right! :D
Yeah, a hell of a lot less weight! I took the battery out when I cleaned the bike the other day, and it must weigh around 10kg!
I might try going for a ride without it one day, to see what the difference feels like.
Anything under 60 miles on an ebike, I wouldn’t consider a big ride. I guess it depends how much you use the power. I used to to 60-70 mile bike rides on my regular mtb a few years ago, now they were big rides!
i did 38 miles on Monday, and 28 yesterday on it, neither wore me out, my back just...
Edit - the only issue getting the old one off is that unless you disconnect the cables, and rewire them, you have to cut the original mount. Doesn't matter though, as this a much better solution.
Do as I say, not as I do! :)
Why would you get the model above mine? You‘re saying you don’t want to spend £4K, and I’ve shown you how to get one for a lot less than that.
You don’t need to spend anywhere near £4K though. Hard tails start at under £2k, and if you don’t have any health issues, could go for one of those. Or for a couple of hundred more, could get an entry level full sus.
I gave you the details of the guys doing my bike for under £3.4K, and it'll be...
I don’t have a rail, but have the Bosch 625 battery, and with a mix of emtb, a couple of hits of turbo, and switching if off on the flats and downhills, I did 28 miles today, and only used 29% of the battery.
