I’ve not done many miles on my Whyte yet, but on my Cube there’s no wall. One of the things I like about the bike is the way the motor works in the background, switching on and off is almost unnoticeable. I hope the Whyte is the same, or it’ll be in the for sale section! ?
There's nothing wrong with pressure washers, as long as you use the right setting, and don't point them into the vulnerable areas. I've owned over 30 motorbikes, all washed with a Karcher, and haven't had any issues at all. I've never used it on the MTB's though, as a hose is sufficient on...
It seems to me that some bike manufacturers are able to add their own ‘custom’ setting, slightly manipulating the standard Tour mode, then passing it off as something new and wonderful. I’ve never needed anything more from Tour on both my bikes, if I do I just switch to eMtb mode.
When the gym is open, I normally spend an hour a day training, followed by a 2km swim every day. During lockdown, the eBikes are my exercise, I just ride with them switched off as much as possible. But now the snow is here, I'm walking the dog and doing a lot of surfing at home. :D
