In theory, you should get one before me. I ordered after you (can't remember when but at least a week). You may have ordered at the beginning of a new build cycle and me more towards the end. I know folks that ordered around when you did have just gotten their bikes. So, yeah, fingers crossed...
So, my 3 weeks has come and gone. Interesting purchasing process this has been.
When I test rode the bike I asked the guys at the Mill how to actually purchase the bike. They said, go online and order it then set up to pay via bank transfer but DO NOT do the bank transfer. When your bike gets...
That seems odd you can't do this as well. You can remove the display all together and replace with the EW wireless unit and use either your phone or Garmin as your display.
So this is how I use that same mount. You can see the screws on the inside of the mount...remove those and turn the plastic insert so your Garmin faces the correct direction.
PERFECT...this is what I was hoping for. Plus the Garmin has a Shimano app that gives even more info that the ETube app...this is great news. As he stated...it will clean things up quite a bit...which will work nicely with the Di2 cleanliness.
You could do it on either side...however the Decoy has the Shimano computer on the right side...so that limits you to the left side. HOWEVER...ther are some apps out there where, if you install a Shimano wireless unit, I think...and I HOPE...to be able to remove the Shimano display and only run...
You can take that mount and rotate it 90 degrees...take the plastic inner part out (it's just screwed in) and turn back 90 degrees so you computer mounts facing forward. This put the computer lower, and is protected more from limbs grabbing it because it is even with the handlebars. I thought I...
I ordered matte and no fork kit...I actually didn’t even know a fork kit was a thing or I would have. Congrats on the bike man...if you are in SoCal we should do a new owner “orientation “ somewhere.
From what I understand...it's almost all compatible with a little programming. Even the chart I sent you shows some 8000 series stuff compatible with the 6000 series drive unit.
I want to play with the Grip2 first and see what I can make it do...I typically like a super plush initial stroke for the small bumps...so I cheat that with a tad more travel. The Grip2 may allow me to not have to do that. Obviously the less travel the better to get the same job done. I like the...
Yeah, I was planning on trying my Decoy in high mode...partly because I had a few pedal strikes (every mm counts) and partly to make it feel a tad more livley for trail riding. I might add 10mm to the fork too in the future which mean in high it should have similar stats to stock fork in low...I...
I would not have bought one if not for the Mill...if I was back in Colorado I would likely get a Commencal just for the warranty related issues. I realize that most issued will be with the motor and any Shimano dealer is SUPPOSED to deal with those...but I have heard of that taking a long time...
