Having owned a 1up for several years and used on several bikes I can say the quality is OK...the stability is just OK as well.
On a long road/ride trip the mechanism that tightens the rack into the hitch broke. There is a little "pill" in there between the ball on the end and the bolt you...
On mine with stock tires (for now) I run 21 ft and 20 rr. I ride typical SoCal trails with imbedded rocks hardpack trails, square-edged braking bumps, etc. I think I am going to run a tad lower at times as well. I always tend to run slightly lower pressure than the guys I ride with do. I'm 220...
Also...if garmin does not make a field for the data to go, even if Shimano is outputting the data...the end result will look like Shimano was not sending the data out. Since neither the SC7000 nor the Garmin indicate that Ant is active there is no way to confirm there is an Ant connection and...
There are a couple of apps for the Fenix5 that would work for me. At least for a quick ride on a known trail...where I’m not concerned about keeping an eagle eye on battery use and needing to know my gears, etc. I will likely get the Fenix6 and as of now they are not supporter, but methinks that...
I an confirm the 830 connects to the SC7000 without the need for the EW 100. I set it up tonight and pedaled around and so far all the functions I am looking for worked...cadence, gear, battery, speed, etc. there are default ebike screen layouts or you can create your own.
I also ordered an EW...
After another 1 hour plus long conversation with Garmin today...if it works with the 1030, it will work with the 530 and 830...the internal hardware is identical and the 530 and 830 are newer and have more software features than the 1030 (although the 1030 is getting the new firmware updates...
The 820 does have Ant+...and it has the functionality to connect to Di2. So, in theory it should connect at least to the Di2 shifting side, but it does not connect to that either.
The two devices never connect via bluetooth. I can connect ETube and Steps Unlocker via bluetooth so I know the function works on the bike. However, when I search for an ebike in the sensors menu it just continuously searches and never finds the bike. There is not an option to find Shimano Steps...
I can't get it to work...called Shimano, they said to call Garmin, Garmin said it works and I need to call Shimano. I was hoping to do this without the additional wireless unit.
What did you set the assist and torque values to? I've been messing with those but still looking for the sweet spot. If you decrease torque does it save the same juice as just decreasing assist percentage? I am trying to get my Garmin to synch up so I can get more data and maximize my battery. I...
So, quick question...I have the E7000 display and a Garmin 820. Garmin confirms I should be able to connect to the motor but I have to have the EW100. I read in this post that I can connect my Garmin while having ONLY the E7000 display. When I try to connect using the Sensors screen and...
That ain't great range...I've been leery of the stories I hear of guys easily getting 30 miles all in trail and boost. I'm definitely getting the bigger battery when becomes available.
That's good stuff right there. I sure hope they open all the Moab stuff with the new ruling. This ebike has made me feel like a kid again, back when I was racing and fast and fit.
I still have not from E13, called on Tues per YT request. YT did, however, "find" one for me and is shipping it out directly. Glad they put the effort out to get this handled quickly.
No Downed trees at all. At Stawberry flats the trail was way overgrown for a 100 feet and in general the trail was overgrown...my forearms got cut to pieces. I didn't see any poison oak, but I was not looking for nor playing in the bushes. There was one or two fresh tire tracks in the trail but...
