Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

The stock chainring doesn't have a spider so no, this isn't a direct replacement. You would need to buy a spider. There are two of them in this thread.

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

FYI Wolftooth said they have no plans to offer other offsets. I did 13 miles today on the 55mm ring with no chain guide, no issues at all.

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

No one is making anything "complicated", we are just providing information. Glad you're happy with your setup. I'm not interested in it. NBD.

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

Unfortunately they come in a 55mm chainline. Didn't notice until I was installing it and realized it's wider than the ethirteen ring. It's a small difference to be sure, but in the WRONG direction for improving chain wear :( I sent a message to Wolftooth yesterday to see if there's any plans to...

PSA: EP801/EP600 motors require new lockring tool

As an owner of the Park LRT-2 I thought I was good to go to remove the lockring on my 2023 Orbea Rise. WRONG ANSWER :( Shimano has changed the lockring and introduced yet another new tool: TL-FC430

2023 Rise M-Team - Power Loss When Range Extender Empty

Quick update: Preface: according to the Orbea docs, battery percentage with my setup (360 + 252) should go 100-60%, then back to 100% when it switches to the internal battery. Second ride I added the E-TUBE Ride app so I could see the battery percentage. As soon as the battery hit 60%, power...

    Battery Life - 2023 Trance X Advanced E+ Elite

Bosch E-MTB mode is super efficient, given the power it offers. That's not a good one to compare to IMO. Keep in mind the Elite 3 is heavy. It's probably only a few pounds lighter than your Rail. All that being said, your range sounds reasonable. I would not expect to get more than 15 miles in...

    Orbea rise m-team 2023 delivery

Yes they are 180. I don't see why you would not be able to run 203 rotors.

    Orbea rise m-team 2023 delivery

It's very interesting. First I will say I was surprised that it automatically upshifts and downshifts when coasting. I thought all of the automatic shifting features were only available on the 11 speed drivetrain. It turns out the only feature exclusive to the 11 speed drivetrain is automatic...

Orbea Rise weight - not what I expected!

Ok fair, maybe just your old scale was off :)

Orbea Rise weight - not what I expected!

I've mentioned this to Rob before. His scale is consistently wrong. Maybe it's intentional... Both of my Rise's weren't up to spec. I had a '21 M-LTD that was heavier than claimed buy a couple of pounds. I took the 15.94kg 2023 M-LTD and calculated all the deltas, much like you. My 2023 M-Team...

    Orbea rise 2023 m-team weight

Size Large with 360 battery, Fox 34 and DPS, aluminum wheels and tubeless tires: 39.67 lbs / 17.99 kg Came with an EXO Dissector in the front (website says EXO+ but photos show EXO) as well as the "Lite" rear axle. 540 battery should add 800g according to all the reviews. A bit heaver than I...

    Orbea rise m-team 2023 delivery

I ordered mine around April 25, picked it up yesterday (March 31) in CA USA. I didn't do MyO, but I did request some of the basic changes (Fox 34, Fox DPS, 35mm rise bars, 40mm stem, alloy wheels). To my surprise the range extender was included as well, I was expecting a delay on that.

2023 Rise M-Team - Power Loss When Range Extender Empty

Interesting point. For me it happened right at the bottom of a hard climb so I didn't really have the opportunity to see if I could "wear it down" all the way. Perhaps it would have come back to normal on its own. At the time I also didn't have any app set up to see the battery capacity. My...

    Ep8 rs full power

It's not a motorcycle. The torque numbers we're talking about are within the range of a fit human. Track cyclists can put out 200+ NM. The frame isn't going to break from the motor torque, else they would break from rider input as well.

2023 Rise M-Team - Power Loss When Range Extender Empty

Picked up my 2023 Rise M-Team today and did a ride. Very fun bike, but I ran into a problem. I thought for sure I was doing something wrong but I've checked all the manuals and searched online and haven't found an answer. Here's what happened: Preface: I had the range extender connected for...

What's the definitive info on the e*13 cranks with EP8?

    2) and 3) are not correct. 3) is actually the problem that affected the carbon cranks. So 1) and 3) are the same issue. 2) is e*thirteen's side of the story. Which, if it were true, would apply to Shimano cranks as well. I tend to take Shimano's side on this issue: the e*thirteen cranks have a...

I fixed the Ep8 motor rattle

The rattle that everyone talks about is internal to the motor. It has to do with the gear lash. No external rubber ring is going to resolve it. If you resolved a rattle with that rubber ring, you had a *different* rattle than the "normal" EP8 rattle.

Instant engagement hubs on the Rise?

Chris King hubs require preload adjusters because they use angular contact bearings. They wouldn't work without them. Radial contact bearings only need preload adjusters to make up for inadequate tolerances. Of course if you have a hub with inadequate tolerances you need the adjuster, so you...
