    Is this normal

Yes but it's painted in this photo.

    Is this normal

It's damage. The paint is too thick and brittle around pivots and such. I have the same kinds of damage on my Levo.

    Largest rear tire?

I too put the stock 2.6 Rekon on the rear, with 29mm rims, and it fit fine. That's a pretty balloony tire too, other 2.6's tend to be smaller.

Insertion depth is listed in the Blue Paper (aka user manual).

    Better saddle - more comfortable?

A nice combo of light weight and good comfort are the Specialized Elaston saddles. I have 2 Phenom Pro Elaston's. Not sure they make them anymore though :(

    STEPS EP8/e*Thirteen Lockring Tool

There's two tools and two different kinds of cables on the Rise, FYI. The box includes the tool for SD300 cables, which are connected at the motor. The bike also has SD50 cables, for the control switch and the EW-EN100 controller; there's a converter in the headtube area. Orbea really should...

Levo Gen 2 Is there anything that will make my Levo not ride like a hard tail?

What's your sag at? What air pressure? How many tokens? What damper settings? (That's what I mean by "setup"). Which shock is it? What is "nothing good on bigger hits"? Is it bottoming? Or not using travel? Or bucking? I've ridden the Levo with a Deluxe RT3 and DPX2. Neither one of them "rode...

Levo Gen 2 Is there anything that will make my Levo not ride like a hard tail?

You may want to actually describe what's wrong with it and what your current setup is. Personally I think a coil is the best upgrade for Levo but since you mention progression I assume you're jumping/doing drops so that wouldn't be a good idea...

Sold SOLD 2021 Orbea Rise M-LTD: Large

Not for me. I have some climbs I ride regularly that are north of 1000ft/mile. They are totally doable with 60Nm but I found myself redlining more than I'm comfortable with. Everywhere else the Rise is REALLY good, but I spend a lot of time riding the steep stuff too. In any case that's just me...

    Still Happy With Your Purchase?

I rode a Foxy last week. Holy shit I was not expecting how good it feels. Super stable and composed, instantly comfortable. Now I'm really jonesing for a Crafty :) First gen Levo was still 90Nm, not 35. I'm guessing you meant the SL? I thought the Bosch gen 4 was 85Nm? I guess we're rounding...

    Still Happy With Your Purchase?

I am very happy with the Rise, but it's not what I want out of an ebike. It's absolutely amazing, but I miss the "full fat" power of my Turbo Levo especially on super steep climbs. I redline a lot more on the Rise than I am comfortable with. "Just get fitter"...sure, if it was that easy I...

    Tried ordering the rise

Like others I stumbled upon my Rise in stock. I'd been watching Online mountain & road bike parts, clothing and accessories shop | Jenson USA for a couple weeks. ETA was always summertime (July-ish). Then one day they had a single Large LTD in stock. I mulled it for a couple days...

    STEPS EP8/e*Thirteen Lockring Tool

Shimano doesn't make the 1 piece chainring, that's E*Thirteen. Shimano uses a standard spider with a bolt-on chainring so you can unbolt the ring to access the motor bolts. That's not normal, hopefully you torqued it properly for reassembly (it's only 35-45Nm) Or RTFM? :P

Have any of you Orbea Rise owners come from a Levo SL? 2 big questions I have

    1. I feel like everyone is overcomplicating the answer. Range is a function of power consumption, not bike design, between the SL and Rise. Of course you can expect the same range with the same settings. However I would argue, if you're using the same settings, what's the point of having a the...

Have any of you Orbea Rise owners come from a Levo SL? 2 big questions I have

Levo SL motor is from Mahle, not Brose.
