Great thread. One comment - with eMTB we all get more runs. For me the effort in coming down (even with analogue Canyon Strive and Giant SX suspensions) gives me sore feet and ultimately a sore lower back. More riding = more aches but worth it.

Left and right hand plastic covers off after taking off front sprocket.
Then protector off and box was in the mess that is the wiring. TBH Giant wiring is a shocker. Needs tidying up and wrapping.

So it was a SpeedBox2 and successfully removed and bike returned to normal which let's me now play with support levels etc from standard Giant Ridecontrol app ... Happy bunny....

So finally found out bike has a SpeedBox2 fitted according to the bike shop. Not sure I want to leave it on but taking the thing off = dropping the motor out etc which is a bit of a pain in the butt.
Question therefore is has anybody fitted one of these and got it working ?
Ok so toy arrived and all well. On the app though the tuning section is greyed out. Dealer tod me bike had been derestricted. Is this likely cause and if so, shock of shocks, how do I remove the destrestriction as I would rather tune via the app ?????

No. It was the only one in that wasn’t (no offence intended) in the weirdo camo colour.
They did have comp carbon in L for another £1,000 but didn’t feel like giving me it for the same as the alu one !! ?
