I have one but haven’t been able to actually use it yet… Been waiting on my frame to arrive forever. It’ll be the GX AXS paired up to an M560 once it finally arrives.
Seems like they still need more help with this. Having just set it up on my new M560 it seems to be pretty buggy, and they really need to incorporate the ability to set some basic stuff, like the tire diameter, through the app. I agree the speed limiter should be an option as well, even if only...
I was thinking the same thing, I’m quite impressed at the facility actually. Makes you wonder though, how in the world was the original M560 ever released into the wild when they have a dedicated acoustic testing room like that???
That was a really good video, I’m surprised to see them speak so...
Finally got my wheels in so I could at least put something together. The tires were so unbelievably tight on the wheels I never would have stood a chance getting the CushCore inserts in there. After a few hours of fighting with all my strength, using copious amount of soapy water, and snapping...
I never knew such a simple thing would be so difficult, of all the chainrings available on eBay and Amazon I literally can’t find a single one showing a pic of the one that supposedly fits the chain guide. Don’t know why they’re so hard to come by.
Now my next adventure is to find the right...
Well… Here’s what they sent me. Oh the joys of Alibaba/Aliexpress shopping. Now when I tried to get a refund they started responding saying they messed up and will send a new one.
Assuming their G4 bikes use the new 48v system Brose came out with last year I’m really interested to see how it does. The current gen Bosch and Shimano systems are both 36v right? Should be a noticeable difference assuming they don’t tune it down too far.
Well that's disappointing to hear... How long until someone gets a plastic gear made like they did on the M600s... Pretty amazing a manufacturer releases something like this with what they know will be a big issue to anyone who buys it. You'd think having the thing not be any louder than motor...
GreenBikeKit made a video comparing (unloaded) noise of the M600/M510/Updated M560. Doesn't really tell much in that test, still need to hear it on a loaded bike, but it's something. Still seems a little bit louder, or at least different sounding, than the M510/M600, but nothing too wildly...
I would expect the efficiency of all these systems to be very close, they’re a brushless motor powering a bike wheels through some gears and a chain. The efficiencies of the motors are going to be extremely close between any of them, they really don’t vary much. The perceived efficiency...
Not sure why I hadn't noticed the notch on the front, I was only looking at the back to see how it was shaped around the drive spline, that does indeed make it easier to identify. Fingers crossed that what I get will be compatible!
We’ll see what I get when it arrives, I contacted them and they weren’t very helpful or understanding. I sent them the pics showing what I needed and explained how I already have the .1C version.
They sent me two links, said I need the second one, then stopped responding for a few days and...
I got one delivered as well, but am waiting on my frame to arrive before I can actually use it. A few sellers have been selling it since mid-late May with descriptions saying it’s the May 2024 updated version and 750w is available again.
After the official launch we’ll probably actually hear...
With all the subjective comparisons of power it would be cool to see someone do a head to head comparison of power output from at least the big 3 of Bosch, Shimano, and Specialized/Brose.
Without any of them having a throttle, a dyno would probably be tough, but something inline between the...
You pointed out the problem, none of them list the simple part number in their listings. Just a pain to have to go hunt down people individually who are in a 12-hour different time zone when you could simply put the searchable part number in their listing and avoid all confusion. Just a pain to...
I agree the routing definitely looks strange to me to be going right next to the shock. I’m happy I’ll get a stronger rear triangle, but that routing definitely is weird.
Also interested to see what they’re changing for the header cable routing. Also wish they’d just do a normal hole in the...
I did read your post, the issue seems to be nobody actually uses the Bafang part numbers in their listings and just say it’s a chainring for a certain motor. Both the one that came with the motor and the one I ordered separately appear to be identical. I’ll see how the offset lines up once I...
I asked for an update on scheduling from Jim at LightCarbon and apparently they're making some adjustments to the frame based on feedback:
"According to some customer feedback, the original rear triangle has some deflection when riding at high speed, so we are improving the rear triangle and...
